- Avoid picking or biting your nail enhancements

Picking/biting off your nail set weakens your natural nails, as layers of the nail plate are often pulled away, meaning your next set will not last as long
Always have your nails professionally removed/infilled

- Apply cuticle oil daily

Regular use of cuticle oil keeps your nails and surrounding skin hydrated
Dehydrated cuticles/hands can lead to lifting and reduce the longevity of your nails

- Don’t use your nails as tools

Using your nails to open cans, parcels, envelopes etc. causes stress to the free edge, leading to lifting/chipping

- Wear gloves when cleaning or washing up

Exposure to hot water and cleaning chemicals can weaken the nails, leading to lifting and breakages
