This lotus flower photo that I took in Camhodia has finally been framed in on my wall after 6 years and I think the timing is ponitent. It symbolizes purity, beauty, enlightenment, rebirth, and spiritual growth, primarily because it rises from muddy waters to bloom into a pristine, unblemished flower. Its ability to grow clean and beautiful from dirt represents overcoming adversity and achieving purity of heart, mind, and action. The lotus is a central symbol in Buddhism, representing the path to enlightenment, and in Hinduism, where it is associated with deities like Vishnu and Lakshmi.
