people always ask about the 0.5%.
it’s a fair question.
if you’re choosing a product based on what’s not in it, you deserve to understand everything that is.
the 0.5% is a preservation system, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate, working together to keep the formula microbiologically stable over time. both are widely used, well-tolerated preservatives, approved under eu and uk cosmetic regulations.
without it, a water-based formula becomes microbiologically unstable within days.
a product without an effective preservative isn’t cleaner. it’s unsafe.
we applied the same scrutiny to the preservation system as we did to every other ingredient.
nothing is included without purpose. nothing is there by accident.

Cradle cap is something many parents notice during the first months of their baby’s life.

Also known as infantile seborrheic dermatitis, it happens when excess scalp oil causes dead skin cells to build up rather than shed normally, creating flaky or scaly patches on the scalp.

The good news is that it is very common and harmless, and in most cases it resolves on its own with gentle care.

What matters most is how the scalp is cared for.

A consistent routine of gentle cleansing can help lift buildup while respecting the scalp’s natural balance.

A simple routine:

• Massage a small amount of Lucio.Libero NOURISHING BABY SHAMPOO & BODY WASH gently onto the scalp
• Loosen flakes with fingertips or a soft brush
• Rinse thoroughly
• Repeat regularly until flakes clear

After cleansing, a small amount of Lucio.Libero BABY HAIR & SKIN BALM can be applied to support moisture in delicate scalp skin.

Consistency is more effective than harsh scrubbing.
