CAFÉ NOIR - our AW’26 hair trend ♥️ The statement-making brunette
We predict the Café Noir trend will continue into 2027, as its been a really popular colour choice for
some time now.

Following the move towards the deeper, more dramatic brunette shades we’ve seen
over recent seasons,

Café Noir sits somewhere between dark brown and pure black. Seen throughout
Copenhagen, this colour is all about creating incredible depth and high shine - and it’s so dark it can
appear almost black, while still retaining the richness of a brunette.

Café Noir typically works best on cooler complexions, but the shade can be adapted for warmer skin
tones by adding gold or chestnut hues to soften the depth.

This is great as a semi colour choice as it will
lots of depth and gloss to the hair. Paired with a bob this colour super chic and polished, but the high-
shine finish also looks great on longer hair.

LAGOM BLONDE
‘Lagom’ in Swedish means just right – not too much and not too little.....which perfectly captures this understated blonde trend.
The beauty of Lagom Blonde is in how undone it looks. Inspired by natural colour and hair growth, it should appear as though it was coloured ages ago, or almost not at all, with light roots.

We’ve been seeing Lagom Blonde across Stockholm,New York, Berlin and London, and it was still a key look among the fashionistas and celebs at Copenhagen Fashion Week, as the soft, low-maintenance colour allows the clothes to take centre
stage.
This really shifts the mood of the hair to a very natural, chic beauty look.

This trend is best suited for a cooler to neutral complexion as it’s meant to be half way between cool
and warm tones. It can be achieved by toning the natural hair colour with a gloss service or simply by
adding a slight shift to natural hair colour, making it in-between light. We love using glossing services,
paint on colour and hand painting techniques to create this midway blonde look.

THE LUGG

The super cute, slighlty uneven fringe 💕
‘Lugg’ is the Swedish word for fringe, and this short, choppy DIY-style fringe is the newest hair accessory to come out of Scandinavia.

Slightly uneven and undone in texture, the key with this cut is to not make it too wide - it should feel like a small, interesting detail rather than a full, statement fringe.

We also love The Lugg slightly grown-out, so it looks almost too long around the eye area, which
adds to that imperfect feel. It works as an accessory for everything from short cuts to medium and longer styles, and we love creating it with a hair razor using texturising cutting techniques to give the fringe a slightly irregular finish.

Another season done at Copenhagen Fashion Week and we are full of hair inspiration for the season ahead. One of our favourite@hair trend is the MARMELADE BLONDE hue, it’s some where inbetween rich gold and light copper h tones 💛🧡

Taking its name from the Swedish word for marmalade
Marmelad Blonde is everywhere in Scandinavia at the moment.
From the streets of Stockholm, Oslo and
Helsinki through to the fashion crowd at
CPHFW, this colour trend is a hybrid of copper hues infusedwith rich golden tones, creating a look that is bright, light and playful.

What makes Marmelad Blonde so popular is that the hues can be dialled up or down, taking the colour
from a softer, more minimalist look to a brighter, more maximalist expression - a contrast that is also key
in Scandi fashion.

It works particularly well on warm, bright, medium and neutral complexions, andacross both short and longer hairstyles.
It’s also the perfect colour choice when you want to be gentler with the hair, as it can be created without relying on bleaching agents. Instead, we infuse the hair with bright tones and lots of high shine, using a range of techniques from highlights and freehand painting to classic all-over colour.
