A British perfume maker, Lyn Harris, giving insight into her craft through the creation of Perfumer
RAIN WOOD
Chosen for the way its olfactory properties echo the sensorial contrasts of bathing in nature, RAIN WOOD evokes an earthy riverbank through a wet, woody base of juniper and cedar wood with patchouli leaves.
Top notes of galbanum, and elemi are then fused with the clean brightness of pepper to summon the sparkle of sunlight glistening on the water.

From 29th July 2026, Perfumer H will present a week-long pop-up at Maison Dongliang in Shanghai, inviting guests to discover the new Magnolia Tree collection in a setting that celebrates its floral inspiration. Set in an immersive botanical environment, the installation brings together fragrance, flowers and craftsmanship, echoing the beauty of the city’s magnolia season.

Created exclusively for Dongliang, Magnolia Tree is a scent that illuminates the skin and evokes the gentle freshness of magnolia in bloom, balanced by a comforting, skin-like warmth.
While the Eau de Parfum captures the creamy freshness of the flower itself, the Magnolia Tree Candle celebrates the blossom in its natural setting, together they offer two complementary interpretations of the magnolia tree: one intimate and enveloping, the other fresh, green and atmospheric.
