I JUST got fresh highlights… so why is my hairline already warmer than the rest of my blonde? 😂

For whatever reason, those little pieces around my face always pull warmer, even right after a highlight, so I use this for that PLATINUM touch. 👱🏻‍♀️

Yes, this is technically ROOT touch-up powder. 😂 It comes in tons of other shades and is actually meant for disguising roots, grays and thinning areas between appointments. I just found another job for it.

I went into this consult thinking maybe a mini tummy tuck. Turns out… we’re not doing anything mini over here. 😂

His recommendation was a full abdominoplasty with muscle repair + lipo of my flanks and hips for full body contouring.

And when you consider what this stomach has been through -
carrying 12 lbs of twins, then a 9 lb baby, gaining around 90 lbs with both pregnancies, two C-sections, a belly button piercing, an oophorectomy AND a hernia repair -
I guess she’s earned the right to be a little worse for wear. 🤣

Could surgery make it look better? Absolutely. Would I love to have the stomach I had at 20 again? Also absolutely.

But the consult actually left me with a bigger question than I expected:

Is it worth the surgery and recovery just to look better? Especially at this stage of my life, I keep coming back to… what exactly do I have to prove?

I feel great in my clothes. I’ll happily wear a one-piece. My confidence is pretty top-notch. 😂 And this body has done some pretty incredible things. So for now, I’m sitting with it.

I’m not saying no. But I’m definitely not saying yes *yet* just because I could look different underneath it all.
