Rocket is inspirational 👇

As a late diagnosed neurodivergent artist & therapist I make work for the people who are also done waiting for permission to stand out. This piece is part of my Angry Animal print collection, a celebration of the animals who refuse to comply 💚 (available until this Friday only!)

Feel free to stick around if that’s your vibe. And if you know someone on the roof, they need to see this too 💚✌️

All I want for Christmas is some basic Neurodivergent accommodations...

and the complete restructuring of society 🎄

Is that too much to ask, Santa? 👀

(Also I drew all of these whilst procrastinating on wrapping presents because executive dysfunction is VERY real)

Tag a fellow Neurodivergent who gets both lists 💚

What's on YOUR realistic Christmas wishlist? Give me the cosy AND the revolutionary 👇

Nobody wants to hear this 😳 👻

If any of these made you go 'oh god that's MY nightmare', I have something to tell you..

Firstly you’re absolutely not alone! These are some Neurodivergent problems I’m not okay with (slide 9 is the absolute worst recently!!!)

And secondly, unapologetically embracing your Neurodivergent joy isn’t ‘too much’ or ‘wrong’ Your special interests absolutely deserve the love you give them.

There’s always going to be people who don’t get it, and people who try to drag you down. But they’re not you’re people. Your community is out there but they’ll never find you if you’re hiding 💚

I’m Becki & I’m a neurodivergent therapist unmasking through digital art - if you’re on your own journey to embracing your Neurodivergent self I’d love for you to stick around for more authentic insights as I share the things I love 💚

Which slide is your personal nightmare? 😳👇

Because instagram perfect self-care routines aren’t the vibe 👀

Any fellow neurodivergent humans will know the importance of these. The things that make you feel like you again, especially following a late diagnosis where self-connection is vital. The things that bring PURE Neurodivergent joy (that you’re allowed to feel!)

From one late diagnosed Neurodivergent to another, here are 5 things currently anchoring my neurodivergent brain:

💚 Video games: I've been gaming for as long as I can remember and right now I'm completely obsessed with DS2 and SH f. Can’t stop won’t stop delivering & pausing my game at every jump scare 👀

💚 Reading & Learning: I’ve realised that beginning ADHD meds last year brought back a part of me that burnout had completely stolen. That curious spark in me I haven’t seen in SO long properly came back. The more I understand about the world, the easier it is to call out the BS (I get my know-it-all side from Autism 👀).

💚 Music: Music has always been a massive part of my life. It helps me process my emotions & puts words to experiences I can’t articulate. Right now I’m resonating a lot with Fightstar and President (no connection between the two i swear).

💚 Creativity: Drawing lets me communicate when words fail. Specialising in Neurodivergence in my therapy practice, I’ve also come to realise words aren’t always everything. There's really no feeling quite like getting so excited about something that you physically need to draw it RIGHT NOW.

💚 Unmasking: I’ve been on an ongoing journey for a while with this, learning that being myself is actually safe. I don't need to tone it down. I don't need to ‘do better.’ I can just exist as I am.

Petition here to normalise neurodivergent self-care that doesn't look like bubble baths & meditation!!

Stick around if you want more insights from a Neurodivergent therapist turned artist on breaking free from masking and embracing your authentic self 💚

Is gaming a bad habit or self-regulation? 🎮

As someone late diagnosed with Autism & ADHD, I've learned that gaming is actually self-care and therapy for me (and yes, I'm a therapist saying this!).

I’ve played a HUGE range of games of all kinds of different genres over the years. Whether its Spyro or Tomb Raider or Silent Hill, all these virtual worlds have in a way taught me:

- Emotional regulation
- Safe ways to feel deeply
- Confidence building
- Stress management
- Predictable rewards
- Controlled environments

That's exactly why I love drawing gaming art and fan art commissions. When you connect with a character or world, I understand the real comfort and healing that happens there 💚

Next time someone questions whether you should still be gaming as an adult, remember: Your brain found what it needed long before your diagnosis explained why 😘

Let's normalise the reality of being an artist (with AuDHD) 🙃

I'll start with sharing this mountain of WIPs I have that I was telling myself I can't post until they're PERFECT, but here they are.

They range from fan art portraits to couple portraits to cute lil sticker designs…

I appreciate that this is a very AuDHD artist problem to have, but I’m determined I’ll get them finished at SOME point. I see it as a lil treasure chest of future prints ✌️

And just a reminder to any other Neurodivergent creators, your process and your interests are valid. Draw what you love and keep the process as chaotic as you want 💚

Which one do you think I should finish first? 🤔👇
