Oktoberfest to Milton Keynes Pride: Here are some of the events taking place in Campbell Park this year Following the success of yesterday's Reggae Festival, we decided to take a look at what other great events are planned for this year...

Blossom Room - The Hub
Beautiful venue, great vibe, drinks and food!

This remarkable Japanese inspired bar features stunning decor and a great atmosphere! All staff were really friendly and helpful and provided a great service! Lots of choice for food and drink which is reasonably priced for the area. Cocktails are usually 2-4-1. We ordered the chicken katsu curry, crispy Japanese style chicken burger, chicken hirata steamed bao buns with side fries. All of which were delicious, fresh, great quality and decent portions! The menu offers plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options too. We ordered 2-4-1 cocktails and had rainbow of fame which was really tasty and refreshing! Lots of drink choices too. Outdoor seating available. The venue was clean and tidy and is in a great central location with parking close by. I would highly recommend! This is a fantastic experience.

So much choice and great value!

A world buffet that has so much great quality and fresh food, there is something here for everyone! Some food cooked to order at live stations. Dessert is also very impressive with a huge range of ice cream flavours, cakes, sweets and even a chocolate fountain and marshmallows! Great value. Decor and atmosphere is really relaxing. The service was good and staff were friendly. Plenty of Covid safe measures in place for example masks and gloves to be worn in the buffet area. Clean and tidy. Would highly recommend.

Mazaya - CMK - Cafe
Great coffee and delicious sweets! The perfect treat!

This quaint, independent coffee bar is based in central Milton Keynes opposite Fred Roche Gardens. Selling a large variety of sweet Turkish pastries and desserts. The coffee tastes great! Great quality and value for money and worth every penny. The lady was very friendly and helpful. Everything was covered well and kept clean. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We ordered a caramel latte with some Turkish treats including baklava, almond and walnut sweets all of which were delicious. Would highly recommend.

The Coffee Bike - inside Love Local Hub at Centre MK.

Support local and try this delicious takeaway coffee. Great service! Located in Centre MK next door to Costa and opposite M&S. Reasonable prices and lots of choice! I ordered a plain latte and toffee latte and would highly recommend! Cups are 100% biodegradable.

Thrift Farm - Waddon

A great experience! If you haven’t already booked in to see Santa, Thrift Farm still has tickets!

The Santa visit exceeded expectations! The elves were great too! We spent sometime chatting to Santa (socially distant) inside the grotto and then we got to choose a toy from Santa’s workshop and then we got to decorate a gingerbread person.
All the animals are happy and lively. Animal feed can be purchased for Just £1 per bag and really makes the experience much more enjoyable as the animals are much more interactive. We got to see lamas, donkeys, pony, pigs, cows, sheep, goats, chickens and more! We attended the petting station event where we got to pet the rabbits and guinea pigs. On-site cafe has lots to choose from with hot and cold drinks at reasonable prices. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and really wanted to ensure we had a great time. Prices are reasonable and well worth it! Plenty of Covid safe measures. Plenty of parking. Toilets were clean and tidy.

Anatolia - Turkish restaurant
Great food!
This Turkish restaurant on Stony Stratford high street offers great quality, fresh food with generous portions. Easy online booking and great service! Plenty of really friendly and helpful staff and dispute a confusion with our order it was quickly rectified. We ordered the Chicken Beyti, Alinazik Lamb, hummus, garlic mushrooms and fries. All of which were delicious! We were also served complimentary fresh Turkish bread with dip as we were seated and served complimentary Lemon shots before we left. The food and drinks were served quickly and fairly priced for the portions and extras provided. COVID safe measures in place. There’s a relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Nice decor. Toilets were clean and tidy although really cold. Plenty of on street parking outside or car parks close by. Available for eat in, takeout or delivery. Would recommend.
