Before you dive into the pool or the ocean this summer, here is a game-changing hair hack you need to know: Always soak your hair in clean, fresh water first! 🚿
​Here is why it works like magic:
​The "Sponge" Effect: Your hair is like a dry sponge—it will automatically absorb whatever liquid it touches first. If it's bone dry when you jump in, it will instantly drink up damaging chlorine, heavy metals, or saltwater.
​The Protective Barrier: By completely saturating your hair with clean tap or shower water before you swim, your hair is already "full." It simply cannot absorb as much of the harsh pool chemicals or ocean salt.
​Bonus Tip: Smooth a tiny bit of leave-in conditioner or a lightweight oil through your wet hair before swimming to add an extra layer of defense! 🥥✨
