I’ve been using Environ for nearly 12 years, but that doesn’t mean my skincare routine has stayed the same!

Since introducing Eventis skin analysis at London Road Beauty, I’ve been able to track changes in my own skin over time — and it’s been fascinating.

These images were taken 18 months apart, in April 2025 and October 2026, using Eventis redness imaging.

My skin certainly isn’t perfect, but looking back at these scans, I can see some encouraging changes in the appearance of redness.

Over those 18 months, I’ve made a few changes to my skincare and supplement routine. Some have become daily essentials, while others I introduce when my skin needs additional support.

For me, it’s about building on the foundations of good skin health — 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐀, 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, adapting my routine as my skin’s needs change.

And that’s one of the reasons I love skin analysis — it allows us to track changes over time, rather than relying purely on what we see in the mirror.

I’ve been a little quieter on social media recently.

Not because anything is wrong – life has simply been busy.

This is one of the busiest times of year at the salon and, if I’m honest, something had to give for a little while.

Over the last few weeks I enjoyed a wonderful weekend away in Yorkshire, spent some time switching off and yesterday had my first facial (by someone else!) in around six months.

I’ve used Environ for over 11 years and genuinely believe my skin has never been healthier. Consistent skincare has transformed my skin over time.

But yesterday reminded me that healthy skin and self-care aren’t quite the same thing.

Sometimes it’s not about fixing anything.

Sometimes it’s about slowing down, taking an hour for yourself and allowing somebody else to look after you for a change.

As therapists we’re always encouraging our clients to prioritise themselves, but we’re not always very good at taking our own advice.

Yesterday was a lovely reminder that self-care matters too 🤍
