πΏπ LITTLE HULTON β STRONGER TOGETHER! ππΏ
What a fantastic morning in our community! πποΈπ±
A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out today and joined Heads Up Gentlemen for our Community Litter Pick. It was brilliant to see people giving up their Sunday morning to help make Little Hulton cleaner, greener and somewhere we can all be proud of! ππ
A massive shout-out to our partners in crime, Walkden in Bloom π»πΈ, the wonderful residents and team from Kenyon Lodge Care Home Amanda Wild π‘π and of course our amazing Nurturing Hands Childcare Kerrie Cooke & Little Hulton community for getting stuck in! π§€ποΈπ
These litter picks are about so much more than picking up rubbish. Getting outdoors, moving, having a laugh, meeting new people and having a good conversation can make such a difference to our mental health and wellbeing. π§ ππΆββοΈπΏ
And when we all work together, we're not just cleaning streets β we're building friendships, community spirit and a stronger Little Hulton. π€π
Each time we do this, we want it to get bigger and stronger, with more residents, families, community groups and local organisations joining us. πͺπ
And finally, a very special thank you to Gillian Charnock at Cynβs Tavern Public House βπͺπ for looking after everyone afterwards with the much-needed brews, tea and coffee! Nothing beats a good brew and a chat after a morning's work! πβπ
This is what community is all about.
Neighbours helping neighbours. People connecting. Everyone doing their little bit. π
π± Cleaner streets.
π€ Stronger community.
π§ Better wellbeing.

Heads Up Gentlemen would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the wonderful Mark Frith and everyone connected with:
πΏ Buile Hill Park Seedley Pavilion Community CafΓ©, Gardens & Allotments
π₯ Incredible Edible Salford
π± Growing Togetherness CIC
Last week, we put a call out to our local community asking if anyone could help us with donations of plants and flowers for our community space at Little Hulton Precinct β and wow, did our community answer! ππΊπ»πΏ
Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Mark from Growing Togetherness CIC, and we were completely blown away by his generosity. We came away with a fantastic load of plants and flowers ready to bring even more colour and life to our community space. ππ±πΈπΌ
π€ Meeting Mark was a real pleasure. Not only did he help us with all these wonderful donations, but we were fortunate enough to get a guided tour of the site β and let me tell you, the place is AMAZING! ππΏ
The gardens, allotments, greenhouse and all the incredible fresh produce growing there are something to be proud of. π
π₯π₯¬π» If you've never been down and had a look, you really should!
We can't wait to get stuck in this Wednesday at Little Hulton Precinct and start getting these beautiful plants into our community space. πͺ΄πΊπͺ
But perhaps the best thing to come from yesterday is that this isn't going to be a one-off. We're incredibly excited to say that Heads Up Gentlemen and Growing Togetherness CIC will be working together on future community projects. π€ππ±
We've gained some fantastic plants, made a brilliant new connection and, most importantly, made a new friend. ππ
Thank you, Mark, and thank you to everyone at Buile Hill Park, Seedley Pavilion Community CafΓ©, Gardens & Allotments, Incredible Edible Salford and Growing Togetherness CIC.
This is exactly what happens when community groups come together, share what they have and support one another. π«Άππ±

π£π π BIG NEWS FROM HEADS UP GENTLEMEN! ππ
π We're incredibly excited to announce that we've officially confirmed our Heads Up Gentlemen Sea Fishing Trip! π£π€
π At the end of this month, we'll be heading to the beautiful Anglesey coastline for a chartered sea fishing adventure, and we honestly can't wait! πβπ
This isn't just about catching fish... π£
It's about bringing the lads together π€, stepping away from the pressures of everyday life π§ , breathing in the fresh sea air π¬οΈ, sharing a few laughs π, and reminding ourselves just how important it is to look after our mental health and wellbeing ππͺ.
π
Sometimes the best conversations happen away from the noise of everyday life. Out on the open water, surrounded by nature ππ¦, friendships grow stronger π€, confidence grows πͺ, and nobody has to face life's challenges alone. π
π A massive THANK YOU to every single one of our members for your continued support, commitment and belief in what we're building together. β€οΈ Because of you, Heads Up Gentlemen continues to grow, creating opportunities for men to connect, support one another, make lifelong memories and prove that it's okay to talk. ππ«
π£ Here's to an unforgettable day on the water... and hopefully a few BIG catches! ππ π£π
π NO SILENCE. JUST STRENGTH. π

πΏ Male Fertility Matters. πΏ
At Heads Up Gentlemen, we're passionate about raising awareness around the conversations that too often go unheard. Male fertility is one of them. Too many men suffer in silence, feeling overlooked or unsure where to turn for support.
A huge shout-out to our friend, supporter, and collaborator Jenny Berry, who has created the powerful ethnodrama "MAN UP", based on real-life fertility experiences. Jenny has an incredible gift for turning lived experiences into thought-provoking poetry, scripts, and performances that truly make people stop, think, and talk.
It has been an absolute privilege getting to know Jenny over the past few months, and we're incredibly proud to be working alongside her on our upcoming theatre production, Behind the Smile. Her passion, creativity, and dedication to raising awareness are genuinely inspiring.
Please take a few moments to have a listen. You never know whose life it could help or what conversation it might start.
Thank you, Jenny, for continuing to use your voice to make a difference. ππ

ππ§ π¬ What an incredible afternoon at Heads Up Gentlemen! π¬π§ π
Today at Pendlebury Social Club, Swinton π was another fantastic session! ππ
We had some brilliant conversations π£οΈ, honest and supportive check-ins π€β€οΈ, plenty of laughs π, and some great games of pool π±. Every week we're reminded just how powerful it is when men come together to support one another. πͺπ
π We also made exciting plans for our upcoming theatre production, Behind the Smile, coming this November. The enthusiasm is growing, and we can't wait to share this important production with our community! ππ¬π
π³βοΈ We even took some time to get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and sit together in the garden. Sometimes it's the simple momentsβa conversation, a laugh, or just being around good peopleβthat make the biggest difference to our mental health and wellbeing. πΏππ
A massive thank you to every gentleman who came along today. ππ You are what makes this group so special. Every conversation matters. Every person matters. β€οΈ
π If you're looking for a welcoming space where you can be yourself, come and join us. Whether you want to talk, listen, have a game of pool, or simply enjoy a brew with good company, you'll always receive a warm welcome. βπ
