How we started… now were here. Yearly top up complete for my client. Her brows had faded nicely after 12 months, just what you want to see. Permanent makeup should fade over time and be refreshed every year or so (everyones skin is different..!) You dont want semi permanent makeup that doesnt fade and then turns blue/ashy, then needs removal.
After she has healed in 4-6 weeks i will invite her back and re-assess, and then get her started on a wax and tint journey to remove unwanted hair growth and give her brow hairs a little pop of colour.

6 week top up for my beautiful friend.
She chose blade and shade and as you can see the shading healed up really well, however she lost some strokes through her bulb after 6 weeks.
I added a few hair strokes to her bulb, and elongated her tails just a tiny tiny bit to give them a little more length.
Now home to heal up and i will re - assess them after 6 weeks.
After the 6 week heal i will also advise my lady to book one of my tint & waxs so her natural brow hair stays darker and she keeps a defined shape. 🩷

My dear friend, back for her 6 week top up! 🩷
She went from blonde hair to brunette and wanted her brows darker. Totally possible, however i explained that where she has lighter brow hair if we microblade darker strokes it would mean more upkeep with eyebrow tints to keep it all looking on point.
First things first, i reshaped her brows using tweezers to get that perfect shape. Then i mixed her a custom colour, yes it looks dark but it will soften once healed.
Once hairstrokes were added i inkbathed the eyebrows, and then i added shading through the mids and tails just to give that ombre effect and give the brows a bit more definition.
Really pleased with the end result! I will invite this lovely lady back after 4-6 weeks to see how her shading has healed.

Meet your PMU cosmetic artist..

Hi peeps my name is Grace.

I have always had a passion for art and design since i was a young girl, always drawing and doodling. I attended Canterbury College in my teens and achieved a national diploma in Art & design however i did not know where to go from there and i didnt end up persuing a job related to my qualifications that i gained!? What a waste right!?

Fast forward to my 30’s i decided to study beauty treatments and gained certificates in makeup, spray tanning, tinting and massage, i set up my own little successful mobile beauty business which i thoroughly enjoyed but then came the dreaded covid!

Through covid i gave up self employment and worked within the NHS, i always had my eyes on PMU treatments and have had my own done through the years, eyebrows, eyeliner and lip blush! It was something that really interested me; the artistry that comes with it as well as making women & men! look and feel confident within themselves.

Fast forward to 2023 and i decided to take the plunge and learn how to microblade alongside full time employment.

I wont lie, it has been tough dedicating my time between the two, worrying will i ever make it as an artist? Am i good enough? Is it too late to start a new pmu career? Am i too old to start over?
However my passion for PMU grows every day and i see so many amazing artists and educators achieving their goals who started off like me dreaming of offering this service - so here i am!

I am qualified in Microblading, Microstrokes, Tinting, Waxing and now Lip Blush, i love learning new techniques and how the industry keeps advancing & progressing!

So my dream now - to do what i love, what i have a deep passion for! Make people look and feel their best, and to be able to eventually quit my full time employment and go full time into PMU Artistry!

Arches were made on this day! This gorgeous girl had alot of brow hair but lacked shape. I created arches and gave her a beautiful shape to enhance her features! What a difference these brows make to her face! 😍 Symmetry, shape and fullness. Loved creating these for her. 🥹
