Last night a tealight caught fire. The last remaining wax had all melted and the liquid wax reached flashpoint. Luckily we were in the room but it was a bit scary. No injuries or home damage apart from a burnt circle on the hearth.

Please don't presume tealights are 'safe' candles. Stay vigilant whilst being hygge 🙏🏻
