This lovely patient came to see me concerned about her peri-oral (“smokers’”) lines.

We used minimal units of Botox directly into the muscle, followed by a superficial epidermal growth factor treatment and superficial Botox microneedling.

The aim was to soften the appearance of the lines while maintaining natural upper-lip movement and function — something that is particularly important, and challenging, when treating this area.

The results will continue to improve with ongoing microneedling alongside epidermal growth factor treatments, helping to further support skin quality and soften the appearance of the lines over time.
