Shellys Mobile Ear Wax Removal Service & B12 Injections

🚨 THAT “RINGING” IN YOUR EAR MAY NOT BE COMING FROM THE OUTSIDE WORLD — SO WHAT IS YOUR EAR ACTUALLY HEARING?

That buzzing, ringing, humming, or hissing sound is commonly known as tinnitus. It can happen temporarily or persist for longer periods, and there isn’t always one single cause.

Loud noise exposure is one possible trigger, especially repeated exposure to concerts, machinery, or very loud headphones. Earwax buildup can also affect sound transmission, while ear infections or inflammation may contribute to temporary ringing.

For some people, tinnitus can occur alongside age-related hearing changes. Certain medications may also contribute, and jaw tension or teeth grinding can sometimes be associated with tinnitus symptoms.

The important thing is not to assume every ringing sound means the same thing. The timing, duration, hearing changes, ear symptoms, and other factors can all matter.

If ringing is persistent, occurs mainly in one ear, comes with noticeable hearing loss, dizziness, ear pain, or follows a significant noise exposure, it’s worth discussing with a healthcare professional.
