Just wanted to let everyone know, that if your coming to the salon this week. The road from the Hoo farm roundabout, past apley pool down towards the Toby Carvery roundabout, it is closed this week.
There are diversions in place and traffic can be slow.

💛I've been thinking about ways I can widen my help to those in need within our local community, and over the next month I'll be collecting donations for the food bank.
If you're able to help, I'd be so grateful for any donations of:
🥫Tinned food
🥛Long life milk
🍚Tea, Coffee, Sugar, pastas and rice along with toiletries.
🥣Other non-perishable items with long expiry dates
Please note I can not accept fresh fruit and vegetables, so items with long shelf lives would be most helpful.
If you're visiting the salon over the next few weeks and would like to bring something along, it would make such a difference to families who need extra support right now.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.💛

Great to have Lauren from Wildflower Tattooing in the clinic today, working her magic with ar**la and brow tattooing ✨
These treatments are all fully funded by the wonderful Lingen Davies Cancer Support making such a meaningful difference to those who need it most.
Please share this post with anyone who may benefit 💛
Just wanted to make people aware that there is a lot of road diversions around the salon.
If you are coming from Shrewsbury, make your way down the A5 not the back way from the Mytton Mermaid, the road is closed.

Lingen Davies Cancer Support Boosts Wellbeing Programme Funding 🏊🧘♀️
More than £150,000 has been committed to a wide-ranging wellbeing programme, offering free and accessible activities for people living with cancer across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales.
From open water swimming and yoga to gardening and sound baths, many much-loved sessions are returning.
Alongside new additions like ar**la and eyebrow tattooing, oncology massage, art workshops, journaling, and gentle hiking.
The aim is simple: to help people reconnect with themselves, rebuild confidence, and feel supported beyond treatment.
The programme is open to anyone living with cancer in the region, with some sessions also available for friends and family.
Alongside this, fundraising continues for the £5 million Sunflower Appeal, which will support a new cancer centre at Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.

Really proud to be part of this 💛
The investment into the wellbeing Programme means more people living with and beyond cancer can access vital support.
I am grateful to play a small role in offering treatments that help people feel more comfortable, confident, and like themselves again.
Thank you Lingen Davies Cancer Support

These boxes are heading out to 💖
Each donation helps support vital research and makes a real difference beyond what we see here.
Grateful to everyone who contributed to fill the 8 full boxes and helped make this possible.💖
Your bras are used in a few meaningful ways:
Fundraising through textile recycling: Many bras are resold or recycled via textiles recycling partners. The proceeds help fund breast cancer research projects.
Reducing Waste: Bras that can't be reused are still recycled as textiles, keeping them out of landfills.
Redistribution: Wearable items may be passed on through partners who support communities where access to clothing is limited.
So essentially, your bras are either given a second life or recycled responsibly, and the value generated goes directly towards supporting breast cancer research and awareness 💖
I would also like to thank Emma Hayward for your help in packing the boxes and the fun part weighing them on and off the scales.🤣
