Sometimes the things you want most in life are the scariest for a reason!
Life is supposed to be full of mistakes, getting things wrong and eventually getting better.
There’s something quite beautiful about looking back at something you once struggled with and realising how far you’ve come. 👏🏻
If you’re gonna miss the bus, miss it running. 🤍 My new mottooooo ✨✨✨
Self employed | business owner | hopes and dreams | life at 30
You’re not. 🤍
I left my corporate job at 30 after being diagnosed with a chronic illness. I had no big master plan, I just knew the life I was living wasn’t working for me anymore, so I took a chance on myself and started again.
Is it easy? No.
Is it worth it? Some days, also no 😂
Would I still make the same decision? Absolutely.
And sometimes I have to remind myself that Vera Wang didn’t start her bridal business until she was 40. Alan Rickman got his first major film role at 41. Samuel L. Jackson was in his mid-40s when Pulp Fiction made him a household name.
We put so much pressure on ourselves to have it all figured out by a certain age, and sometimes it’s actually the fear of running out of time that wastes the most time.
So for the girls who feel like everyone else is ahead of them, or like they’ve left it too late to change their mind, change careers, start the thing or completely start again…
you have more time than you think.
This is your sign. 🤍
I’m a 32 year old that’s kind of embarrassed to admit that…
1. I thought I’d be a lot more financially secure by now. I work hard, I’m self employed, but I still feel skint way more often than I thought I would at 32.
2. I still don’t fully know what I want to do with my life. I love barbering and I’m proud of what we’ve built, but I know I want more for myself too. I’m just not completely sure what that looks like yet.
3. I really want social media to become part of my career and income. I’ve spent so much time trying to work out what I should post, what my “niche” is and what people actually want to see from me.
4. I compare myself to people who seem so much further ahead than me. Especially people my age or younger who have the house, the money, the career and seem like they’ve got their s**t together.
5. I’m not very good with money. I want to be. I want savings, I want to stop worrying about what things cost and I want us to be able to actually enjoy our lives without money always being part of the conversation.
6. I still rely on my mum for a lot. Probably more than I thought I would at this age.
7. I have loads of ideas. I want to build things, make more money, grow online, create a good life for myself… but I can also massively overthink everything and end up doing none of it.
8. Some days I feel really confident about where I’m going. Other days I genuinely feel like I’ve got no idea what I’m doing.
9. I thought by 32 I’d feel like an adult. I don’t. I still feel like I’m figuring myself out as I go.
10. And I think the biggest one is that I know I want more from my life. I just haven’t completely worked out what “more” looks like yet.
So that’s probably what you’re going to get if you follow me.
Building my career. Trying to make more money. Growing on social media. Running a business. Barbering. Relationships. The good bits, the s**t bits and me trying to figure out what I actually want my 30s to look like.
I’m not following a plan and pretending I’ve already got the answers.
I’m figuring it out as I go.
So if you are too, follow me and we’ll see where we end up 🤍
If you’ve ever wondered what a 1:1 haircut looks like for a child that doesn’t particularly like his haircut * it’s this *
This is down to hard work, consistency and confidence building 👏🏻👏🏻
So proud of him! Would this suit your child?? 👀🙌🏼

Health & Wellbeing Business of the Year finalists 2026 🤍✨
Tonight we were invited to Morecrofts for the MIB Awards welcome drinks, getting the chance to meet the judges, sponsors and some of the incredible businesses we’re shortlisted alongside.
This is our first ever year entering the MIB Awards, so to have been nominated, shortlisted and now named as finalists honestly means more than we can put into words.
Something that really stuck with us tonight was being told just how much of an achievement it is to reach the finals, especially in your first year entering. Some businesses apply for years before being shortlisted, so whatever happens from here, this already feels like a little win in itself 🥹🤍
After 35 years of Just 4 Men, to be recognised for the work we do around health, wellbeing and making people feel safe, comfortable and understood is incredibly special.
We felt very humbled to be in a room full of so many brilliant small businesses tonight - and maybe slightly overwhelmed that little old us were one of them 😂🤍
Roll on awards night ✨🥂
