For most of us, choosing cleaner beauty and more natural products didn’t begin with a complete overhaul.

It started with one moment and then one better choice after another.

I’m six years into my journey and I’m still learning, still making changes and still swapping things in my kitchen and home as I go.🤍

I love hearing what inspired you to clean up your routines. What was the moment that started it all for you?

A few things that have always been chic... and always will be. 🤍

What would you add to the list?

There really is nothing like summer honey harvest. 🍯🐝

Lifting warm frames from your own hives uncapping the comb. Watching the extractor spin. Slowly filtering the honey, then finally getting that liquid gold into jars while it still carries the warmth of the hive.

It's a feeling that's hard to put into words, and one that never gets old.

But the harvest is only the reward. The real work happens long before this moment. Looking after the bees, learning their behaviour, carrying out inspections, managing the hives, and helping strong healthy colonies through the season.

We've still got plenty to do over the coming weeks as the harvest continues, but I wouldn't change it for the world. 🤍

Meet our newest little team member... and self-appointed Chief Chicken Wrangler.

Lily is a curious little Border Collie with a big personality, already keeping a watchful eye on the chickens, following me around the garden, and becoming part of every day here at Kayle at Home.

I have a feeling she'll be popping up in plenty of photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes moments, so I thought it was only right to give her a proper introduction.
