As much as everyone loves summer and as glorious as the hot weather might be, this time of year is a lash technicians worst nightmare.
Eyelash adhesive is extremely sensitive when it comes to weather changes. Especially heat.

During the summer when the weather gets like in the picture below our glue starts to struggle.

Eyelash adhesive requires a certain temperature and humidity to allow it to work correctly and keep good retentions. When the weather falls above or below the required temperature and humidity levels that it states, it massively affects the retention. So during these high temperature months us lash technicians try our absolute hardest to keep our glue happy but sometimes, no matter what we do, we can’t always keep the room to the perfect temperature and humidity. This is something that is completely out of our control.

So, before you shout at us for your lashes not lasting, please consider that we are trying and it’s not our fault, nor is it yours.
Let’s both blame climate change😂

I offer a FREE correction appointment for clients who’s lashes are affected by this. So if you notice lashes falling out (more than the expected amount) within the first 3 days of having your lashes done, please message me.
