One of the biggest things that can stop someone booking an event isn’t the price, the programme or the location.
It’s simply:
“But who would I go with?”
And I think that matters.
If someone wants to come alone, the event itself should make that feel easy — not awkward.
Clear information. Natural places to meet people. Activities you can join without feeling like the odd one out. And enough freedom to disappear for a bit if you want to.
That’s the kind of environment I want to build with Wild N Well Fest.
Would you ever go to a festival or weekend away on your own?
I think wellness gets talked about like something you turn to when you’re exhausted, stressed or struggling.
But what if you’re actually alright?
You can still want a change of scenery.
You can still want to meet new people, try something different, eat good food, listen to music, sit around a fire or spend a couple of days doing things you genuinely enjoy.
You don’t need a crisis to justify taking time for yourself.
That’s something I want Wild N Well Fest to reflect too.
Sometimes “because I fancy it” is a perfectly good reason.
Send this to someone who needs reminding of that.
I’ve been looking forward to today for weeks.
October is absolutely manic for me with Halloweenville, so having one proper day to switch off and spend some quality time with Mick feels more valuable than ever.
Nothing complicated.
Autumn. Good food. A wander. A coffee somewhere nice. No schedule beyond doing whatever we fancy.
Sometimes wellness isn’t adding another thing to your life.
Sometimes it’s deliberately making room for the things that already make you feel good.
If you could plan your perfect reset day tomorrow, what would be in it?
Right, I want to know what kind of festival person you are 😂
You’ve got one whole Saturday and absolutely no pressure to do everything.
Are you up early for yoga… or ignoring the world with a coffee?
Workshop or massage?
Live music or firepit?
Sauna or doing absolutely bu**er all for an hour? 😂
That freedom to choose is a big part of what I want Wild N Well Fest to feel like.
Tell me your choices below — 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
I want to see what everyone’s perfect day actually looks like.

Wellness weekends can look amazing on Instagram.
But before handing over your money, there are a few things I think everyone should know.
Especially if you’ve never been to one before.
What’s actually included?
Do you have to join in with everything?
Would you feel comfortable coming alone?
Is the atmosphere actually right for you?
These are all things I’m thinking about while building Wild N Well Fest too.
Because I don’t want people arriving and suddenly discovering the weekend is completely different from what they thought they’d booked.
Clear information matters.
And so does having enough freedom to make the weekend your own.
What’s the ONE thing you always want to know before booking an event or weekend away?
Save this for later — or send it to someone who loves a weekend away.
Wellness isn’t really my thing.”
I hear versions of this quite a lot.
But I think sometimes it’s the word wellness people don’t relate to — not the actual things that make them feel good.
A walk somewhere beautiful.
Live music.
Making something with your hands.
Sitting around a fire talking absolute rubbish.
Good food.
Meeting new people.
Trying something you’ve never done before.
Or just getting away from normal life for a couple of days.
Yoga, breathwork, meditation and sound baths can absolutely be part of wellness too.
But they don’t have to be your version of it.
That’s a huge part of what I’m trying to create with Wild N Well Fest — lots of different ways to reconnect, restore and have a bloody good weekend while you’re at it.
So tell me — what’s something you do that YOU count as wellness, even if other people wouldn’t?

You don’t have to be a certain type of person to enjoy a wellness weekend.
And I think that’s something we need to talk about more.
When I first started building Wild N Well Fest, one of the things I kept hearing was:
“I’d love something like that, but I don’t really do wellness.”
And that got me thinking.
What does someone who DOES wellness actually look like?
Because as far as I’m concerned, there isn’t one.
You don’t need experience.
You don’t need a particular lifestyle.
You don’t need to arrive with a group of friends.
And you certainly don’t need to spend an entire weekend trying to become a better version of yourself.
Sometimes you just want to get away, meet some interesting people, try something different, eat good food, listen to music and have a bloody good time.
That’s the kind of environment I’m trying to create.
A weekend where men and women, couples, friends and solo attendees can all feel like they belong.
No pressure to participate in everything. No expectation to be anyone other than yourself.
Which of these five do you think puts people off wellness events the most?
Save this for the next time someone tells you wellness isn’t for them.

A little bit of work done this morning, then I’m heading up to Rivington with Mick to spend some quality time together at one of our favourite places. 🍂
It’s my last weekend before the Halloween trail starts, so this feels like a bit of peace before the storm! Being up there always slows my brain down — and right now, it has about a hundred tabs open. 😅
What are you doing today to relax after working all week?
This. This is exactly what I meant yesterday. 🍂
I asked if anyone else has a season where they genuinely just feel better — and this is why autumn is mine.
I walked outside tonight and the sunset had cast this gorgeous warm light over everything, even all the Halloween bits, and I just had to film it.
It’s the colours.
The light.
The cooler evenings.
Halloween creeping into everything.
Comfort food.
Walks.
Cosy pubs.
All the little autumn things I look forward to every single year.
Nothing particularly exciting happened here.
It just made me happy.
And I think that’s something I’m becoming much more aware of while building Wild N Wellness — wellness doesn’t always have to be something you do.
Sometimes it’s noticing the little things that make you feel bloody good.
This is mine. 🍂
