ARRIST SPOTLIGHT: A TATTOO SESSION WITH INDRÉ

Meet Indré, aka - a multidisciplinary artist and professional nomad currently moving through Europe, working across tattooing, fine art, and curatorial practice. Rooted in a classical education of music and fine art, her path eventually broke from tradition, finding a more instinctive, tactile language through tattooing.

From scanned ink marks made with found objects, to exhibitions that pull tattooers’ work off the body and into shared physical space, Indré’s practice lives somewhere between discipline and rebellion, abstraction and intuition. Her process invites interpretation — not unlike a Rorschach test — where meaning is discovered rather than imposed.

We spoke with Indré about blending tattooing with fine art, creating non-stereotypical touch points within the tattoo world, and why community and physical spaces still matter.
