🌱 Not all turf is the same.

It might look similar when it arrives, but there’s a lot that goes into producing quality turf before it ever reaches your site.

From the seed varieties and soil it is grown in, to how it is cultivated, harvested and handled, all of these things can make a difference to the finished product.

We’ve been growing turf in the UK for over 40 years, continually looking at ways to improve how we grow and produce our turf.

Because when it comes to laying a new lawn, repairing a sports surface or working on a large landscaping project, quality matters.

🌼 Why has my wildflower meadow gone brown?

At this time of year it’s one of our most common questions.

Brown doesn’t always mean something has gone wrong, it’s just time to cut it back.

Many species naturally die back after flowering. Those seed heads support wildlife and help create next year’s display and make room for the next bloom.

Nature is doing exactly what it should 🌸

💧Turf Tip Tuesday

One of the simplest ways to check whether your new turf is getting enough water is to lift a corner.

The grass may look damp… but is the soil underneath?

If the soil is dry, the roots aren’t getting the moisture they need.

A few extra minutes watering today can make a huge difference to your new lawn in the weeks ahead.
