*The palace is home to the only known surviving parietal bone relic of the Buddha.

Imagine Gongs, singing bowls, crystal chalices and Eastern instruments blending with cosmic electronic soundscapes beneath the magnificent vaulted ceiling of Town Church. ⛪
As the sounds echo around this amazing space, it all comes together to create a truly unique, immersive experience.
All you need to do is lie down, close your eyes and listen. Feel the vibrations, let the sounds wash over you, and give yourself an hour to switch off from the outside world. ✨

🍃 What does a mountain tea taste like?
Spending the last few days up in the Wuyi Mountains, I’ve been discovering their tea, and there’s something really special about it.
The mountains are sometimes wrapped in mist, then the sun breaks through and lights everything up. ☀️🌫️
The tea grows among steep, rocky cliffs, where the soil is rich in minerals.
Wuyi Rock Tea is semi-oxidised, so it has a lovely mix of the freshness of green tea and the richer, smoother taste of black tea, with delicate floral notes...

In the mountains of southern China, people spontaneously gather to sing traditional mountain songs, beat drums and gongs, dance and celebrate together. 🥁🎶
No stage, no rules, just music, movement and pure mountain energy. 🌿✨
This is our way of healing through music — connecting with each other, expressing ourselves and letting the energy flow.
*The crystal bowls make the deep throat singing spread out endlessly. ♾️
Day 5 in China
4y old boy quietly following his teacher (先生 Sensei) around throughout the whole performance tonight. 🥹
Wherever the teacher went, he was right behind him, carefully carrying his little tray of tea snacks — making sure teacher didn’t miss out on all the yummy treats he’d prepared. 😂🍵

A few peaceful days in the mountains of China, almost completely off the grid. 🌿
A traditional Chinese courtyard, a lotus pond, beautiful local organic food, and learning to play an ancient Chinese instrument — letting the music calm the mind and restore the Qi.
Living simply, turning inward, and not looking outside for anything.观自在
happiness is simply being present. just feeling Zen🍃.

Wuyi Mountain is a 5A-rated national scenic area in China, and one of the few places recognised by UNESCO as both a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site.
For 10 days, we’ll explore all kinds of flow arts —Poi • Fans • Buugeng • Calligraphy • Music • Dance • Yoga…and plenty of other workshops and creative sessions.

Last weekend, a little dream of mine finally came to life!✨
It was such a lovely coming together of cultures. Tai Chi, calligraphy and the tea ceremony all felt like different forms of flowing art — each bringing its own energy and creating something really special.
