Did you know that pouring water on someone who has fainted is NOT the right first aid? 💧
If someone faints, help them lie flat on their back, check if they are breathing normally, and raise their legs slightly if there is no suspected injury. Do not pour water on their face or force them to drink anything.
If they are unresponsive and not breathing normally, call emergency services and begin CPR if you can. If they do not regain consciousness quickly, seek urgent medical help.

Your surgical specimen is not meant to be kept under your bed!
After surgery, some patients take their specimens home and forget about them, while others bury them without following up for the laboratory results.
But do you know why your specimen is sent to the pathologist? 🔬 The examination helps identify what the tissue contains and may provide important information needed for your diagnosis and further treatment.
Please, don't ignore your results. Follow up with your healthcare provider and find out what the examination reveals.

Why shouldn’t you remove your oxygen without informing your healthcare professional? Oxygen is prescribed for a reason. Removing it on your own can cause your oxygen level to drop and may put you at risk. Always follow your healthcare professional’s instructions and ask before removing your oxygen. ”
