In laser hair removal, 755nm refers to the wavelength of the laser rather than the name of a treatment.

Different wavelengths have different absorption characteristics in the skin. At 755nm, melanin has relatively high absorption, allowing the pigment in the hair to absorb light energy and transfer that energy towards the hair follicle.
