• Choose cool, muted, dusty colours over bright or vivid shades
• Opt for medium contrast rather than stark black and white
• Look for smoky blues, sage, eucalyptus, soft raspberry, mauve, dusty rose and mushroom taupe
• Choose silver, white gold or platinum jewellery
• For makeup, think soft rose, mauve and berry tones with cool taupe eyeshadows
• Avoid orange-based bronzers, peachy corals and warm golden tones

Your eyebrow colour can completely change your overall look … that’s because it changes your contrast levels 🤨
The dark “power brow” has been a popular choice for years, but darker isn’t always more flattering from a colour analysis POV.
On fairer or naturally lower-contrast colouring, brows that are significantly darker than the hair and complexion can dominate the face, harden the overall effect and distract from the eyes.
As we can see with Sabrina & Aimee, a softer brow colour can create a fresher, more balanced result while still framing the face.
For Ariana Grande it’s the opposite issue -she has gone too light form a colour analysis POV. Although we prefer her hair darker overall…. However, we slightly deepened her brows in this image to illustrate how she can remain more harmonious by not lightening the brows too much.

Silver vs gold is not always a matter of personal preference. Sometimes, your skin tells the story first.
Aideen is a Deep Winter with a cool undertone. In silver, her complexion looks clearer, brighter and more defined. In gold, a slight yellow or ruddy cast begins to appear and the skin loses some of its natural freshness.
In general….
Cool undertone = cool metals such as silver tend to harmonise.
Warm undertone = warm metals such as gold tend to glow.
It is a subtle difference, but once you see it, you cannot unsee it.

Yellow is naturally a warm colour so can be harder for cooler seasons to pull off..
If you’re a warm season, you’ll suit golden, buttery and mustard yellows. And if you’re a cooler season you’ll look best in fresher shades like icy lemon, sharp citron or cool pastel yellow.
