How are you this Monday?

It's a bit cold here at the Nano Nagle Birthplace in Cork.
It's only 5 degrees. It's time for me to go back home, and I just wanted to thank everyone I met over the last few days, and everyone here who's sent me messages, kind words about Felix, and even messages asking when I'll be back.

I promise you, you can't get rid of me that easily. I will be back, Mallow. I will be back, probably next year. But I promise to come back.

💜🐾 A LITTLE GOODBYE TO OUR LITTLE FELIX 🐾💜

With a very heavy heart, I have some sad news to share with our Witch Kitchen family.

Sadly, little Felix took a turn for the worse. Despite receiving veterinary care, fluids, medication and all the support we could give him, he continued to grow weaker.

The vet explained that there was nothing more we could do to help him recover, and that the kindest thing we could do was to let him go peacefully, sparing him any further pain and suffering.

And so, with broken hearts, we made that decision.

Little Felix has crossed the Rainbow Bridge 🌈🐾

Sometimes, love means fighting with everything we have to save a little life. And sometimes, the greatest act of love is knowing when we must let go, even when our hearts are not ready.

Felix was with us only for a very short time, and we will never know what his little life might have been like. But we do know he was found, cared for, received veterinary attention, and wasn't simply left to suffer alone.

He mattered. His little life mattered. And he deserved kindness, comfort and compassion until the very end. 💜

I want to thank everyone who sent prayers, healing thoughts, and kind words. Thank you also to Molly's Rescue for stepping forward to help him and for giving him that chance.

Although we couldn't change the outcome, we tried our best to give this little soul a chance at life. Sadly, sometimes, even all our love and care cannot change what is meant to be.

Run free now, little Felix. No more pain, no more struggling, just peace. May you find warmth, sunshine and endless places to play on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge 🌈🐱

You were only here for a moment, little one, but you were loved. And you will not be forgotten.
