After weeks of careful consultations and strand testing, today was finally transformation day. Lifting years of dark colour is never a one-appointment process, but achieving healthy, beautiful results will always be our priority.

Today’s lift is the perfect first step, creating a softer, brighter base while keeping the hair looking and feeling its best. Even better, Pauline’s biggest concern—her regrowth—will now be far less noticeable, making future maintenance so much easier.

With over 21 years of experience, hairdressing isn’t just a career for Julie—it’s something that has been part of her life from a very young age. Coming from a family of hairdressers, her love for the craft was nurtured early on and has continued to grow throughout her career.

Julie shares the same values that are at the heart of our salon: a genuine passion for hair, a commitment to continuous learning, and most importantly, putting the client experience first. She is a true hair artist who takes the time to listen, understand her clients’ needs, and create looks that are completely tailored to the individual sitting in her chair.

Her passion lies in all aspects of colour, from bespoke brunettes and personalised highlighting to beautiful multidimensional colour transformations. She also has a real love for upstyling and bridal hair, helping clients feel confident and beautiful for life’s most special moments.

What stands out most about Julie is her ability to make people feel their absolute best. For her, it’s not just about creating beautiful hair—it’s about making every client feel confident, comfortable, and empowered when they leave the salon. For this wedding guest upstyle, we wanted something sleek, classic, and effortlessly sophisticated. We began by creating a French knot at the back, which became the foundation of the style, then carefully wove the remaining hair around it to create soft texture and beautiful detail.

To achieve that polished finish, we used a silk net throughout the styling process, enhancing shine while keeping frizz beautifully controlled. The result was a refined, graceful upstyle that felt both modern and timeless — the perfect complement to a special occasion.

Grey blending is a bespoke service designed to help soften regrowth lines and create a more natural transition into your natural colour. It’s important to understand that this is a journey, not a quick fix, and perfection isn’t always achievable in just one or two visits.

From the very beginning, we discussed exactly what could and couldn’t be achieved at this stage, ensuring our guest felt informed and confident throughout the process. Every head of hair is different, which means every grey blending journey is unique. This technique requires patience, trust, and commitment from both the client and stylist, and it’s not the right approach for everyone.
