When you're struggling, you don't need to have everything figured out. π€
You don't have to isolate yourself.
You don't have to pretend you're okay.
You don't have to compare your recovery with someone else's.
And you don't have to punish yourself for having a difficult time.
Sometimes, taking care of your mental health starts with something very small:
reaching out.
Save this for a difficult day. And if you need support, you don't have to wait until things become unbearable.

Mental distress doesnβt always look like sadness.
Sometimes, it sounds like:
βSir, kaafi bhaari rehta hai.β
βNeck aur shoulders akad gaye hain.β
βPet mein kuch theek nahi lag raha.β
Stress and emotional distress can sometimes show up through physical symptoms such as fatigue, muscle tension, digestive discomfort, headaches, sleep changes, or a racing heart. But physical symptoms can also have many other causes, so they shouldnβt automatically be attributed to mental health.
The important part is to listen to what your body is telling you and seek appropriate professional support when symptoms persist or concern you.
At UNSAD Health, we believe mental and physical wellbeing deserve to be understood together, with compassion and without judgment. πΏ
Your symptoms are real. Your experience matters. And asking for help is okay.

When a friend spills tea on your couch, you laugh it off. π
When you make the same mistake? Suddenly you're your own worst critic.
Sound familiar? It's not a personality flaw. It's a learned pattern and learned patterns can be unlearned.
Therapy and counselling can help you get there. π

Why are we often kinder to others than we are to ourselves?
A mistake that feels understandable when a friend makes it can suddenly feel like a personal failure when we make it.
That harsh inner voice isn't always telling you the truth. Sometimes, it's a learned pattern that has become automatic.
The first step is noticing it. The next is learning to question it.
Save this carousel for the next time your inner critic gets loud. π

Why does one negative comment stay in your mind longer than ten positive ones?
You may receive appreciation all day, but one criticism can replay in your head when you're trying to sleep.
This is often connected to the negativity bias, our tendency to give greater attention and weight to negative experiences.
But noticing this pattern is important.
A negative thought is not automatically a true thought, and one difficult experience does not define your worth.
Understanding how your mind works can be the first step toward changing how you respond to it.
Save this post for the next time your mind gets stuck on the one negative thing.

Bridging the gap between neurobiology and clinical practice. π§ β¨
Just wrapped up an intensive two-day clinical EEG workshop, and itβs already reshaping how we approach assessment and treatment planning.
When we look at brain activity through an EEG lens, we move beyond subjective reporting to observe real-time neural dynamics. Interpreting these patterns provides critical insights into:
Stroke Dynamics: Identifying early signature patterns and regional cerebral dysfunction to better understand ischemic and localized impact.
Localization & Targeted Interventions: Mapping specific brain regions to identify which neural networks are hypo- or hyper-activated, allowing us to tailor somatic and therapeutic interventions with far greater precision.
Neuroplastic Feedback Loops: Tracking objective baseline shifts as clients progress through integrative care.
This experience has elevated our practice, and we are now ready to start training interns and fellow practitioners on these protocols. Integrating objective neurophysiological data with clinical practice is where true root-cause transformation happens.
Excited to bring these insights back to the practice and build out our upcoming training modules!
