😩 WHAT IF YOU LOST YOUR PHONE TODAY? WOULD YOUR WHATSAPP CHATS STILL BE THERE? 📱💬

Most people don't think about WhatsApp backups until something goes wrong.

Your phone could be lost, stolen, damaged, reset, or replaced. Without a recent backup, important conversations, photos, videos, and other WhatsApp data may not be available when you need them.

Here’s how to back up your WhatsApp chats on Android and iPhone

FOR ANDROID USERS

1• Open WhatsApp.

2• Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.

3• Select Settings.

4•Tap Chats.

5• Select Chat backup.

6• Under Google Account, sel
ect the Google account you want to use for your backup.

7• Choose your preferred backup frequency, such as Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.

8• Tap Back up to create a backup immediately.

Want your videos included?

Turn on Include videos. Just remember that videos can make your backup much larger.

🍎 FOR iPHONE USERS

1• Open WhatsApp.

2• Tap Settings at the bottom of the screen.

3• Select Chats.

4• Tap Chat Backup.

5• Tap Back Up Now to create a backup immediately.

6• You can also select Auto Backup and choose how often you want WhatsApp to automatically back up your chats.

iPhone backups use iCloud, so make sure you're signed in to your Apple Account and have enough iCloud storage available.

⚠️ DON’T MAKE THIS MISTAKE

Turning on automatic backup once doesn't mean your chats will always be protected.

Check the date of your latest backup regularly.

If your last backup was several months ago and your phone is lost today, you may not be able to restore conversations that weren't included in that backup.

WHEN YOU GET A NEW PHONE

When moving to another phone, make sure you use the same phone number and the appropriate Google Account on Android or Apple Account/iCloud on iPhone associated with your backup.

Then follow WhatsApp's restoration instructions when setting up the app.
Never share your WhatsApp verification code, password, or other security information with someone claiming they can recover your account.

QUICK
Android → Google Account

iPhone → iCloud

Both → Check your backup regularly.

Your WhatsApp may contain years of conversations, important information, photos, and memories.

Don't wait until you lose your phone to discover your backup wasn't up to date.

SAVE THIS POST so you can come back to it when you need it.

And share it with someone who probably hasn't checked their WhatsApp backup recently.

You don't need to create a new Instagram account because you lost your password 🔑

Losing access to your Instagram account can be stressful, especially when you have years of photos, followers, messages, and memories on it.

But if you’ve forgotten your password, Instagram provides several ways to recover your account.

Here’s what to do

1• Go to the Instagram login screen

Open Instagram and tap “Forgot password?” or “Get help logging in”, depending on the version of the app you’re using.

2• Enter your account details

Enter your username, email address, or phone number connected to your Instagram account.

Instagram will use this information to find your account.

3• Choose how you want to receive the recovery link

If the email address or phone number is still accessible, Instagram may send you a login link or security code.

Follow the instructions you receive to regain access.

4• Check your email carefully

If you don’t see the message immediately, check your Spam, Junk, Promotions, or Social folders.

Also make sure you’re checking the email account that is actually connected to your Instagram profile.

5• Don’t have access to your email or phone number?

Don’t give up.

On the recovery screen, look for options such as “Can’t reset your password?” or “Need more help?”

Instagram may provide additional account-recovery steps based on your situation.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Never give your Instagram password or security code to someone who claims they can recover your account for you. Scammers often target people who have lost access to their accounts.

💡 BEST TIP: Once you regain access, update your password, make sure your email and phone number are current, and turn on two-factor authentication for extra protection.

Have you ever forgotten your Instagram password and struggled to get back into your account?

Have you ever posted a Reel that got thousands of views, plenty of likes, and even some comments… yet your follower count barely moved? 👀

It can be frustrating.

You then start asking questions like:

People are watching, so why aren’t they following?

The truth is, views and followers are not always the same thing.

A view means someone watched your content.

A follow means someone saw enough value, interest, or connection to say:

“I want to see more from this person.”

Here are some reasons your Reels may be getting views but not turning viewers into followers:

1• Your content doesn't have a clear focus

If your Reels are about many unrelated topics, people may enjoy one video but feel unsure about what they will get if they follow you.

People are more likely to follow creators when they understand what the page is about.

Ask yourself:

👉 What do people know me for?

👉 What type of content can they expect from me?

2• Your profile isn't convincing

Imagine someone enjoys your Reel and clicks on your profile.

What do they see?

Does your bio clearly explain who you are and what you share?

Do your recent posts support your niche?

Your profile is like a first impression.

A good Reel can bring people to your page, but your profile often helps them decide whether to follow.

3• Your Reel gives all the information without creating curiosity

Sometimes creators explain everything in one post and give viewers no reason to return.

You don't need to hide information, but it helps when your content naturally makes people think:

👉 “I’d like to learn more from this person.”

That is one reason educational creators, storytellers, and problem-solvers often attract loyal followers.

4• You are attracting viewers, not your ideal audience

A Reel can reach many people, but not all views come from people who are interested in your type of content.

For example, a funny video may get many views, but if your page mainly teaches Facebook tips, some viewers may enjoy that one video and move on.

Views are good.

The right audience is even better.

5• You never invite people to follow

Sometimes creators forget this simple step.

If someone enjoys your content, a gentle reminder can help.

Examples:

➡️ Follow for more creator tips.

➡️ Follow for simple Facebook tutorials.

➡️ Follow for practical content creation ideas.

Not everyone will follow immediately, but some people simply need that reminder.

💡 The Bigger Lesson

Don't focus only on views.

Also ask:

✔️ Are people saving my content?

✔️ Are they commenting?

✔️ Are they visiting my profile?

✔️ Are they coming back to watch more?

A Reel can introduce people to your content.

But consistency, value, and a clear message are often what turn viewers into followers.

Now tell me:

Have you ever had a Reel get thousands of views but only a few followers? What do you think was the reason? 👇

As a creator pay attention to these 5 common copyright mistakes 😩

Do you know you can spend hours creating a post, editing a video, or building your page…

Then one copyright issue can cause problems you never expected.

Many creators think copyright only means “Don't steal someone's video.”

It goes much deeper than that.

1• Using someone else's video because you found it online

Just because a video is on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or another website doesn't mean you are free to download and repost it.

“I found it on the internet” is not permission.

The person who created the original work may still own the copyright.

Even if you give them credit, that doesn't automatically give you permission to use their content.

👉 Better approach: Create your own footage, use properly licensed content, or get permission from the copyright owner.

2•. Using popular music without checking the rights

That trending song may sound perfect for your Reel…

But music can be copyrighted too. 🎵

A song being available on one platform doesn't necessarily mean you can download it and use it anywhere you want.

And commercial use can have different rules from personal use.

Better approach: Use music provided through the platform's licensed music options when appropriate, or use music that you have the proper rights or license to use.

3• Thinking “I gave credit, so I'm safe”

This is one of the biggest misunderstandings.

Writing:

“Credit to the owner.
“I don't own this music.
“No copyright intended.

doesn't automatically give you permission to use someone else's work.

Credit is good when required by a license, but credit is not the same thing as permission.

Always check whether you actually have the right to use the content.

4• Assuming changing someone else's content makes it yours

Some creators download another person's video and add:

❌ Captions
❌ Filters
❌ Music
❌ Borders
❌ Their logo
❌ A few seconds of their own footage

Then they assume the video has become original.

Not necessarily.

Adding something to copyrighted material doesn't automatically remove the original creator's rights.

Better approach: Make your own content from the beginning, or make sure your use is actually permitted under the applicable license or copyright exception.

5• Using photos, clips, or graphics you found through Google

This one catches many creators. 😳

You search Google for an image, download it, and use it in your post because it was easy to find.

But Google is a search engine, not a copyright-free content library.

The image may belong to a photographer, company, artist, or another creator.

Better approach: Use your own photos, properly licensed stock images, public-domain works, or content with a license that allows the way you plan to use it.

ONE IMPORTANT THING CREATORS SHOULD REMEMBER

Copyright isn't simply about whether you give credit.

It's about whether you have the right to use the work.

And copyright rules can vary by country and by situation. Some uses may qualify for exceptions such as fair use or fair dealing, but those exceptions are not automatic just because you're educating, reacting, editing, or adding your opinion.

So before posting someone else's content, ask yourself:

“Do I actually have permission or a legal basis to use this?”

If the answer is no, think twice before posting.

Protect your page.
Respect other creators.
And build your audience with content you have the right to use.

Which of these mistakes did you think was okay before today? 👇
