👩🏫 How I teach blending to Jr. KG students!
I start with a simple word family such as -at:
👉 a + t = at
👉 c + at = cat
👉 h + at = hat
👉 m + at = mat
👉 s + at = sat
First, let the child say each sound slowly:
c – a – t 👄
Then gradually blend:
c-a-t → cat! 🎉
✨ Start simple.
✨ Use familiar words.
✨ Let children hear → say → blend → read.
📌 Save this reel if you teach Jr. KG or are teaching your child to read!
💬 Comment “WORD FAMILY” and I’ll share more blending activities.
