Rustic Art is not just a brand, but a lifestyle. We're immensely proud of Swapna, our 24 year old lab assistant at our manufacturing unit. Swapna visited a small slum near Shendre, a small village in Satara, to conduct a menstrual hygiene awareness session for women. At the end of an extremely interactive session, the women chose to switch to menstrual cup with easy acceptance, since both water and money are a huge battle for these daily wage workers.

Swapna and a few other girls from Rustic Art will keep follow up with these women for the next three months to make sure they understand and learn to use the menstrual cup properly. This is the first step in reducing the sanitary waste ending up in landfills which is in close proximity of the village and beautiful green pastures.
Every employee at Rustic Art has been consciously trying to create a difference in lives of women around them one household, one society, one community and one town at a time. Rustic Art is extremely proud of these girls like Swapna. The difference that they're creating at an individual level is small when compared to the actual needs of the environment, but, that difference means life time worth of ease and happiness for every woman that's made and is willing to make a shift!
