Today is the National Costume Show of Miss Intercontinental. Mika’s national costume is a customized Bingata costume of Okinawa. Mika, who takes a lot of pride in her hometown, would love to take this opportunity to showcase and share the Okinawa culture to the world.

The Bingata is a distinct Ryukyu design that cannot be seen in other parts of Japan. It also uses a lot of rich colors such as yellow, red, blue, and purple. The Bungata headpiece has a wave design that features the beautiful sea of Okinawa.

She hopes that through this, many people from around the world will take interest in her culture.
