🔹Enzo Maresca on Cole Palmer: "We decided to protect a little bit, in terms of don't get worse. We decide to rest him for the next 2-3 weeks until the international break, just to see if with that rest he can recover to 100% and be completely fit. I don't think he needs surgery. It's just a matter to manage the pain in his groin."

🔹Enzo Maresca: "We have Tosin injury. He will be out probably until the international break. Small problem in calf. Wes Fofana, he had concussion the other day. The rest are, I think, are all okay. Romeo and Benoit are better, we see if they can join us tomorrow."

🔹Enzo Maresca: "Robert [Sanchez], for a long period of time, he was very good for us. The last part of last season, the beginning of this season he was fantastic. He made a mistake vs Man United, he recognised that. We are happy with both of them [Filip Jorgensen too]. Not any problem with Robert."

🔹Enzo Maresca on Enzo Fernandez: "Enzo can play in different positions for us. He can play as a No.6, an attacking midfielder. We use him for 90% of our games as an attacking midfielder. He's very good in that position. The reason why he can have some good and bad moments is probably because of the amount of games. It's impossible to think you can play 64 games - that we played last season - at the same level. But we're happy with Enzo. It depends a little bit about what we think for the game-plan. He is an important player for us and we try to use him as much as we can."

When we played Josh away at Palace and at home versus Bournemouth, the reason why was not because we had any central defenders. We trust Josh. He was ill this week but had a session yesterday with us. Part of my job is to find solutions when we have some problems in terms of numbers."

🔹Enzo Maresca on Rotating players: "We try always to rotate players. That has to be the main target this season because of the amount of games, the amount of injuries. Sometimes you are not able to rotate because you don't have the right numbers."
