I am fighting back tears because sickle cell cannot be managed in silence anymore.
Most schools in Liberia lack the system to support students fighting this disease, leaving them with zero understanding on top of the lack of medical resources. Staying silent hurts more than the pain.

Despite the challenge I've been faced with throughout the past days, still make it my duty to speak on Sickle cell awareness to prevent other children from going through the same pains.

The pains of sickle cell is more dangerous than HIV, I am kindly asking parents to please make sure to do a genotype test before getting marry or before bringing children into this world.

And to those children who are faced with such pains like me, please make sure to stay hydrated and believe that Sickle cell is not a death sentence.

We will lived in peace and not Rest in peace.

Just a day to remind you on the promises of God, no matter what problem or situation you're face with, remember God said he will not leave us nor forsake us.

Keep trusting in his promises and believe with God all things are possible and you have the power to overcome.

I am battling suckle cells but with that been said I still trust in God and encourage myself that I can do better instead of putting the endorsing the pain I faced.

Take a day walk , stress-free your mind and make sure to stay hydrated. You will live in peace not rest in peace.
