Sometimes the best days are the unplanned ones. A couple weekends ago, in an effort to get my son off his screen, I told him he had to go to a park to play. I didnāt care which one. He chose Ryan Park in Rancho Palos Verdes. Itās one that we frequented a lot during the Covid days. You just canāt beat the ocean views.
After awhile at the park, he asked if we could go explore some of the hiking trails nearby. Of course I said yes, and we headed to the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve.
Between the ocean views, seeing Point Vicente Lighthouse in the distance, and just having uninterrupted time together, it felt like the perfect afternoon adventure. As my kids get older, Iāve realized these moments feel even more meaningful. Less rushing, more conversations, and making memories in places this beautiful.
We talked a lot about how blessed we are to have this right in our backyard. It fills my heart with such joy that my kids are really starting to see just how special it is where we live. I worked really hard to get us here and Iām so beyond blessed for them, this place and moments like these.
One of the most peaceful places I found in Paris šæ The Grand Mosque of Paris felt like stepping into another world tucked right inside the Latin Quarter. I visited in late April and caught the last of the wisteria blooming through the courtyard, which made it feel even more magical.
Between the fountains, gardens, intricate tilework, and quiet atmosphere, it was such a beautiful escape from the crowds. I also loved learning the history behind the mosque, which was built in the 1920s to honor Muslim soldiers who fought for France during World War I.
If youāre planning a Paris trip and want to experience a quieter, more hidden side of the city, this is absolutely worth adding to your itinerary. More Paris travel tips and hidden gems are up on poshinprogress.com

I completely understand why butter yellow is having such a big moment right now š. It somehow feels soft and neutral while still adding a little color, and I love how easy it is to wear.
Iāve also been seeing more drop waist silhouettes lately, and I really like how this style feels relaxed, feminine, and a little different from the dresses I normally gravitate toward.
I styled this butter yellow drop waist midi dress for an easy everyday look, but it would also work for brunch, vacation, summer events, or even casual date nights. Head to Poshinprogress.com for styling tips and shopping details. š

Always worth the climb, this is one of my favorite views in all of Paris š«š·.
Thereās just something magical about Montmartre and SacrĆ©-CÅur. Between the stunning architecture, the sweeping city views, and the charming little streets filled with cafĆ©s and artists, this area still feels special every time I visit.
And if you donāt feel like climbing all the stairs, thereās a funicular tram that takes you right up the hill and makes the experience even easier. If youāre planning a Paris trip, this is one place you truly canāt miss. More Paris travel tips over on poshinprogress.com.
My favorite moment from my recent trip to Paris wasnāt a monument or museum. It was sitting along the Seine at sunset with champagne in hand, experiencing the city the way locals do. Honestly, these quiet spring evenings made me fall deeply in love with this city and I canāt wait to be back again later this week!
Iām slowly working my way through my Paris content, with some new stories and much more to come over on Poshinprogress.com. If youāre heading to Paris soon, drop your questions and suggestions below!
One of my favorite day trips from Paris š«š· Visiting Monetās garden in Giverny in late April meant I caught both the tulips and the wisteria in bloom, and it honestly felt like walking through one of his paintings. The gardens were beautiful, but touring Monetās actual home was what surprised me most. The line was long, but seeing the art, the colorful rooms, and the spaces where he lived and painted made it completely worth it.
I booked a Viator tour from Paris, but there are several ways to visit depending on your budget and travel style. Iām sharing the best time to visit, how to get there from Paris, tips for avoiding crowds, and everything you should know before going over on poshinprogress.com.
