I wish I’d trusted myself at 30 the way I’m learning to at 50.
There are things I’m no longer willing to carry. The people pleasing. Old failures I kept treating as evidence. Versions of myself I’d outgrown but was still trying to keep alive.
I’m still learning, still changing my mind, still working things out. But I’m getting better at backing myself and believing I deserve the life I’m building.
In this episode of Glo From The Inside Out, I’m talking about what turning 50 has taught me.
What do you know now that you wish you’d known twenty years ago?

A little appreciation post for you, Rob Wrensch
Thank you for all the ways you show up for me. For your love, your patience, the laughs, and the everyday things that I probably don’t say thank you for enough.
Life gets busy and it’s easy to assume the people closest to us know how much they mean to us. But I want to say it anyway. I appreciate you, and I love sharing this life with you.
Looking through these photos made me smile. Some lovely moments together, and so much in between that never makes it onto a camera roll.
Thank you for being you. For being in my corner. And for all the memories we’re still making.
Love you. Here’s to lots more of this ❤️ xx
There’s something incredibly liberating about reaching an age where you stop worrying about what people think and start focusing on who you’re becoming. ✨
I’m not here to slow down, play small or become invisible. I’m here to build businesses, try new things, make mistakes, laugh at myself and keep becoming the woman I know I’m capable of being.
The best part? I genuinely believe I’m only getting started.
Ladies, we’re not getting older. We’re getting bolder. 💗

These photos capture so much of what I love about being part of events. There’s room for laughter, for tears, for honest conversations and, apparently, a little dancing too.
I absolutely love hosting, joining a panel and sharing my story. Being able to connect with people in a room, hear their experiences and speak openly about my own is something I want to make more space for in my life.
Some of what I share still feels vulnerable. But if sharing something I’ve been through helps someone feel less alone, see a new possibility or find the courage to back themselves, that means so much to me.
My hope is always that people leave feeling encouraged, empowered and a little more sure that their voice matters too.
I’m excited to be growing this side of my work and opening myself up to more opportunities to host, speak and be part of meaningful conversations.
If you’re planning an event and would love me to be part of it as a host, panellist or speaker, please get in touch via DM. I’d love to hear what you have in mind.
Just kidding 😉 🩷 50 is fabulous and I’m just getting started.

Looking back at these photos, I wish I could tell the version of me who started Lumi Glo that she didn’t need to have it all figured out.
Because I didn’t. I had one mask, an idea I believed in and so much to learn.
There were mistakes and expensive lessons. There were moments when I questioned my decisions and had to ask myself whether I still believed in what I was building. I did, but that didn’t make the uncertainty easy.
It feels different looking back now, knowing what that one product would become. At the time, I was making decisions without knowing how they would turn out.
I’m proud of how far Lumi Glo has come. And I feel tender towards those early days, knowing how much I still had to learn.
To everyone who has supported this brand along the way: thank you. You’ve helped turn an idea I cared so deeply about into something we get to share.
If you’re building something and questioning yourself today, I hope seeing a little of my beginning helps you feel less alone.🩷
