Just a year ago, this was only a dream. I took a leap of faith, left my corporate career, and poured my heart into building something that reflects who I am. Today, seeing my business in one of ’ newspapers is incredibly emotional.

For more than 13 years, I worked in the financial and corporate sector. It gave me experience, stability, and so many valuable lessons, but deep down, I knew I wanted something different.

I’ve always loved beauty, fashion, and of course… nails. 💅🏼 Swipe through and you’ll even find one of my old nail polish applications (please don’t judge too harshly 😂).

In 2025, I decided to take a leap of faith and create Mad For Nails. What started as a dream has become a space where I can combine precision, creativity, and genuine care for every client who sits in my chair.

Today, I’m a Russian Manicure specialist, a business owner, a proud mum to Brooklyn, and a woman who finally chose the path that felt right for her.

I’ve learned to stop forcing productivity on low-energy days. Instead, I listen.

And as service providers in the beauty industry, we carry that. Quietly.

So now, I protect my energy like I protect my business:
• I rest when needed, without guilt
• I move my body to reset
• I create space between clients when I feel drained
• I remind myself that I am not a machine

Because the quality of what I do that is; the precision, the care, the experience I give, is directly tied to how I feel.

And the truth is… you don’t build a sustainable business by running on empty.

You build it by understanding your rhythm, respecting your limits, and showing up fully when you have the energy to truly shine.

I used to think success looked like a title, a structured career path, and a stable paycheck.

And for years, I lived that life.

On paper, everything made sense.
In reality, something felt… off.

There was no creativity. No fulfillment. No real sense of ownership over what I was building.

So I made a decision that didn’t make sense to many people:

I walked away.

Away from comfort.
Away from predictability.
Away from a career I had spent years building.

And I chose something entirely different: something hands-on, precise, and deeply personal.

Today, I build confidence, not just careers.
I work with real people, not just numbers.
I create results that my clients can see, feel, and carry with them every day.

Is it harder? Yes.
Is it uncertain sometimes? Also yes.

But for the first time, my work feels aligned with who I am.

No more Sunday anxiety.
No more counting hours.
No more shrinking myself to fit into a system that was never built for me.
