I’m pleased to share with you our very first consultancy job at our Lekki lab which is starting as a comparative study of the effect of two essential oils from two plant sources against beans weevils

What we’re trying to determine is:

✅which oil is more effective
✅ how effective is it compared to a standard insecticide
✅ create a library of plant extracts ranked according to their insect repellent potencies and compared to standard insecticides

Our aim is the production of a potent biodegradable, non toxic and environmentally friendly insecticide which you can spray on your beans and prevent weevils from infesting it

The ultimate goal of our client is to develop a plant based insect repellant/ insecticide

We have decided to expand the study, to include other plant extracts apart from the two we will be starting with
