CONSISTENCE WITH GOAL

06/09/2026

THERE ARE DAYS I ENVY THE MAN I WAS BEFORE ANYBODY NEEDED ME.

Not because I want to go backwards.

But because that man had something I now understand was extremely expensive:

He had uninterrupted access to God.

There was a time nobody knew my name.

No church.
No ministry.
No crowd waiting for me.
No Sunday demanding a sermon from me.

I could disappear, and nobody would look for me.

So I disappeared into God.

I remember going to the mountain for 21 days.

Another time, 40 days.

There was a season I stayed 62 days.

What frightens me when I remember those days is that I wasn't fasting for anything.

No crusade.

No project.

No church growth.

No conference waiting for fresh oil.

I was simply a young man who had tasted God and had become dangerously hungry for more.

God Himself was the prayer request.

Today, we still fast. We still pray. But ministry has taught me something I wish every young minister understood:

It is possible for your hunger for God to slowly become hunger for what you need God to do.

You begin fasting because there is a program.

Praying because Sunday is coming.

Seeking revelation because people are waiting.

And without realizing it, even your secret place can become an office.

You are still meeting God, but now you have an agenda.

That is what I miss.

The days when I entered His presence with nothing to accomplish.

No sermon to return with.

No prophecy to collect.

No breakthrough to secure.

Just God.

And young minister, perhaps you don't realize how wealthy you are right now.

You are crying because nobody calls you.

One day, you may miss the days when your phone didn't ring.

You are frustrated because nobody is waiting outside your office.

One day, you may discover that privacy was also a blessing.

You want thousands to need your anointing.

But understand this:

THE MOMENT PEOPLE DISCOVER YOUR WELL, THEY WILL COME WITH BUCKETS.

And if you never learned how to go deep when nobody was drawing from you, eventually the demand can become greater than your depth.

So don't rush obscurity.

Dig your well.

Fast when there is no program.

Pray when nobody needs a prophecy.

Study what you may never preach.

Have encounters you will never post.

Receive revelations you don't turn into sermons.

Love Jesus in ways your congregation will never know about.

Keep something between you and God that ministry is not allowed to touch.

Jesus had people searching for Him, yet He withdrew to lonely places and prayed (Luke 5:16).

Perhaps He was teaching us:

Never allow people's access to you to destroy your access to the Father.

Dear man of God, don't envy the microphone.

Don't envy the crowd.

Don't envy those Men of God carrying responsibilities you cannot see.

Your obscurity may not be God's refusal to use you.

It may be God's final opportunity to have you to Himself before everybody starts asking for a piece of you.

Use it.

Because one day God may answer your prayer for influence.

And when thousands finally know your name, may you not discover that the price of becoming known by men was becoming a stranger in the secret place.

Build now.

Dig now.

Disappear now.

Because when the buckets come, they will not care how tired the well is.

Happy Sunday

Many ladies rush into marriage without checking the most important thing, the man’s kindness. Beauty fades, money can shake, but a man’s heart will show every day. It’s better to remain single and peaceful than to become a frustrated wife living in silent pain. Marriage is not a rescue plan; it is a commitment that requires wisdom, patience, and a partner who truly cares.

Men too must understand that love is more than romance. If you say you love a woman, help her grow. Teach her what you know, support her dreams, and encourage her to stand strong on her own feet. A woman you invest in becomes a partner, not a burden.

True love is building each other, not draining each other. When both hearts are growing, the relationship becomes a blessing. Choose wisely, build intentionally, and make sure kindness leads the way.

I watched through the departure glass as my wife, Sandra, was dragged away by airport security. She was screaming my name, her wig falling off, her hands in the air.

I sipped my champagne, turned my phone to Airplane Mode, and buckled my seatbelt.

I am not a victim. I am not asking for your pity. I am asking for a round of applause.

They say revenge is a dish best served cold. I served mine frozen.

My name is Kelvin. Six months ago, I found out that Sandra, the woman I married and sponsored through her Masters degree, was sleeping with our landlord.

I didn't catch them in bed. I didn't see a text message.

I saw the DNA test results for our set of twins.

"0% Probability of Paternity."

The landlord, a short, pot-bellied man who always complained about maintenance fees, was the father of my children.

I didn't cry. I didn't confront her. I didn't break bottles or shout like a madman.

I went to work. I smiled when I came home. I played with the twins.

But inside, I began to draw a map. A map out of this marriage and into a new life.

Sandra had one weakness. She was obsessed with Japa. She wanted to move to the UK more than she wanted air to breathe.

So, I gave her a dream.

"Baby," I told her one evening over dinner. "I got the job. The Tech company in London. They are paying for everything. Relocation allowance, visa for the whole family, everything."

She screamed. She jumped on me. She called her mother. "Mama, we are going to London."

I told her there was a condition.

"The company requires us to show Proof of Funds in our Nigerian account. We need to liquidate our assets here to show we have ties to nothing."

She agreed.

She was so blinded by the lights of London that she didn't read the documents I gave her to sign.

We sold her boutique.

We sold the land her late father left her in Lekki.

We sold her jewelry.

The money came into my account. Over 45 Million Naira.

"Don't worry, baby," I said. "I will convert it to Pounds when we get to Heathrow."

I forged the Visa documents. I am a Graphic Designer, so it was child's play. I printed out convincing Certificates of Sponsorship and Visa Approvals.

She packed her bags. She gave her clothes to her friends. She did a Send forth party. She insulted her enemies. "I am leaving this dirty country for you people," she boasted.

We got to the airport today at 6:00 AM.

I had my real passport and a real ticket to Dubai.

She had her fake documents and a printout that was worth less than toilet paper.

When we got to the Check In counter, I told her, "Honey, let me quickly use the restroom. You stay in the queue."

She nodded, adjusting her expensive sunglasses. "Be fast, baby. London is waiting."

I walked to the restroom, took the back exit, and went straight to the other terminal where my actual flight was boarding.

I sat by the window and watched.

I watched as the airline staff checked her papers.

I watched as they frowned.

I watched as they called the supervisor.

I watched as Sandra started shouting, "My husband has the original. He is in the toilet."

Then the Police came.

They checked the documents. Fake. Forgery.

She looked around, searching for me.

I sent her one last WhatsApp message before I boarded.

"The Landlord can pay for your bail. The twins are his, so the bills are his. Have a safe flight to nowhere, Sandra."

I saw her look at her phone. I saw the moment her soul left her body. She collapsed on the floor.

As my plane taxied on the runway, I felt lighter.

I have 45 Million Naira in my Bitcoin wallet. I am single. I am free.

Some of you will say I am wicked. You will say I went too far.

But tell me...

If you found out you had been raising another man's children for 4 years, paying school fees for the landlord's seed, would you have walked away? Or would you have burned the bridge, the river, and the boat?

Don't cheat on a patient man. We don't get angry. We get even.

Cheers to my new life. πŸ₯‚

Who would you give your seat?

What would you do in that situation? It's a tough decision to make, especially when it comes to people you care about. I think it's great that this project is sparking conversations like this.
