Bayan gaisuwa irin ta addinin Musulunci, (MABO COMMUNITY FOUNDATION), a madadin, iyalina, abokai, da daukacin masoya, muna aiko da wannan wasiƙa ta musamman domin nuna alhininmu da jajantawa gare ka, kan ibtila’in gobarar da ta faru a gidanka dake GRA.

Hali ne na rayuwa cewa Allah (SWT) yana jarrabar bayinsa da ya fi ƙauna da abubuwa daban-daban na dukiya ko rayuwa. Amma hikimar Ubangiji tana nuna mana cewa duk abin da ya ɗauka nasa ne, kuma shi ne zai mayar da mafificin abin da aka rasa.

Muna taya ka addu’ar Allah ya musanya maka da mafi alheri, ya kawo maka buɗi ta hanyoyin da ba ka taba tsammani ba. Allah ya kare aukuwar hakan a nan gaba, ya sa wannan jarraba ta zama sanadiyyar ƙarin girma da albarka a gare ka.

ZURU TRAGEDY: Kebbi State Government Orders Probe, Assures Justice for Bereaved Family

The Kebbi State Government has initiated decisive measures following the tragic death of two young sisters at the General Hospital in Zuru, reaffirming its commitment to justice, accountability, and the prevention of future occurrences.

The victims, aged six and three, reportedly died on the 18th of this month under circumstances linked to an alleged case of drug misapplication. Two nurses suspected to be connected to the incident have since been arrested and are currently in police custody in Birnin Kebbi, as investigations continue to establish the exact cause of the tragedy.

In a swift and deliberate response, the state government constituted a nine-member investigative panel chaired by the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK. The committee has already commenced its assignment, with a mandate to thoroughly examine the incident and recommend appropriate actions.

Speaking during a condolence visit to the family at the Emir’s Palace in Zuru, the Chairman of the Committee conveyed the government’s deep sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family. He stressed that no measure of support can compensate for the loss of innocent lives, while assuring that the government remains resolute in its pursuit of justice and systemic improvements within the healthcare sector.

As part of its humanitarian intervention, the government approved financial support of ₦10 million to assist the family in coping with the aftermath of the tragedy. The gesture, he noted, is intended purely as a demonstration of compassion and not as a substitute for the profound loss suffered.

The Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Mohammed Sanusi Mikailu Sami, described the incident as deeply regrettable and urged the family to accept it as an act of the Almighty. He commended Governor Nasir Idris for his prompt and empathetic response, highlighting his unwavering dedication to the welfare of the people.
The Emir further called on healthcare professionals to uphold the highest standards of practice, emphasizing the need for continuous training and strict adherence to professional ethics, while warning that negligence within the health sector is unacceptable.

Responding on behalf of the family, Barrister Garba Abubakar Shehu expressed appreciation to the state government for its support and swift intervention. He acknowledged the profound grief caused by the loss, while noting that the family draws strength from the belief in divine destiny.

The Kebbi State Government reiterated its determination to ensure that justice is served and that all necessary measures are implemented to safeguard lives and restore public confidence in the state’s healthcare system.
