The Kingdom that Falters not
There exists a kingdom built on justice and collective efforts, a queen rules but masses decide. On equal rights of members, it glides, all the kingdom members work committedly to make the kingdom stands. The collective efforts make a good nation with a good reign, an age long slang being worshiped in the kingdom. A queen, massive workers and few drones make the glorious kingdom and every member is willingly committed to his/her duties. The queen secrets a pheromone that cohesively unite the entire kingdom, a chemical substance that is gladly shared among the colony members, gives each member a unique smell that makes her different from the members of another colony. This is a colony fingerprint, a wonderful work of nature that makes colony members identify themselves.
The queen is a prolific egg laying machine producing workers in multitudes blessing the kingdom with a great workforce. The workers work tirelessly to collect, process, store and reserve nectar which turns honey after dedicated days of duties. Honeybees produce honey to feed humans, produce propolis and pollen breads to heal humans and sting human acupuncture to maintain the healthy paths. More importantly, they pollinate more than two-third of crops we grow as foods. The achievement is due to the fact that no one leaves his/her duties recklessly or carelessly undone but all committed to build a great kingdom.
When the queen becomes weak, unable to dole out enough pheromone as a leader, incapable of laying prolifically as a mother queen, the workers replace the queen through ‘Supersedure’, a natural phenomenon of replacing the queen without a bias. A faultless transition that signifies a faultless continuity. What a great lesson from the bee kingdom, the kingdom that falters not.
