Not all the time that the amniotic fluid (baby water) breaks like a bag of water. Sometimes it leaks in a way that if you are not careful, you will miss it and before you know it, ‘your baby water’ will drastically reduce.
Be observant, check your p@ant/underwear anytime you remove it.
Dear Mum,
One of the reasons your child may not be doing well in school is because you keep changing schools.
Every school has its own teaching style, curriculum, expectations and learning environment. Each time you move your child, they have to adjust to a new teaching method, new teachers, new classmates, new routines and a completely new environment.
That adjustment takes time.
The impact is not just academic. It can also affect your child emotionally and psychologically. Imagine being “the new child” in a different school every year or every two years. That can be lonely, stressful and unsettling.
Sometimes, the problem is not the school. Sometimes, it’s the constant disruption.
Give your child time to settle, build friendships, understand the teachers and adapt to the learning system before deciding the school isn’t good enough.
And please remember: life is not only about English, Mathematics and Science. Your child may have talents and strengths in other areas that are yet to be discovered. Not every child shines at the same stage. Some excel in primary school, while others blossom in middle or secondary school.
Of course, there are genuine reasons to change schools; such as relocation, financial difficulties or when a school consistently fails to provide a safe and quality learning environment. I’m not referring to those situations.
But if none of these applies, consider giving your child the stability they need. It may be one of the greatest gifts you can give them.
Please share this with a mother who needs to hear it today.

Do you know what this is?
You think it’s breast pump? Or you know it before now?
Anyway, let me not stress you. It’s called BRE@ST SHELL
One thing I do not like is waste… and that includes bre@st milk.
Many pregnant women don’t know this until after delivery: while your baby is happily feeding on one bre@st, the other bre@st may start leaking milk all on its own.
Now that I have told you, no need thanking me. 😊 Just add a brea@st shell to your hospital shopping list.
A bre@st shell is a lightweight plastic cup worn inside your bra. It gently covers the n1pple and catches the bre@st milk that would have soaked your bra or bre@st pad. Instead of letting that precious milk go to waste, you can collect it and store it safely for your baby if it has remained clean.
How to use a breast shell
✔️ Wash your hands before handling it.
✔️ Ensure the bre@st shell is clean and dry before each use.
✔️ Place it over the n1pple and wear it inside a well-fitting bra. The shell should sit comfortably without pressing too tightly.
✔️ Wear it on the bre@st that is not being used for feeding or whenever you notice frequent leaking.
✔️ After bre@stfeeding, remove the shell carefully and pour the collected milk into a clean, sterile container if it is still suitable for storage.
✔️ Wash the bre@st shell with warm water and mild soap after each use, rinse well, and allow it to air-dry before using it again.
A few important tips
• Don’t wear a bre@st shell all day without removing it. Give your skin time to breathe and empty it regularly. • If you notice pain, redness, or excessive pressure on your bre@st, remove it and ensure you are wearing the correct size.
Bre@st milk is often called liquid gold for a reason. Every drop is valuable. If you are preparing for your baby, a bre@st shell is one of those small items that can make a big difference.

There is no such thing as a silly pregnancy question. If something worries you, ask your midwife or doctor. Curiosity is a strength, not a weakness.
