As part of our initiative to launch the One Million Trees project at the University of Jos, I led our project implementation team to meet with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Tanko Ishaya, represented by the Vice Chancellor Academic, Prof. Rahila Plangnang. Our discussion was productive, and we're excited about the potential collaboration that will make this initiative the largest climate action project in any Nigerian university.

We also joined the DVC Academics, the Directorate of Students Affairs, and students to launch the "Campus Creators: Beyond Students Activism" initiative. This innovative program, spearheaded by the Student Union Government (SUG), aims to foster unity and collaboration among students, promoting creative problem-solving and entrepreneurship to prevent unrest and potential university closures.

During the launch, I encouraged students to take environmental responsibility seriously and invited them to join the soon-to-be-established UniJos Green Brigade as volunteers. This team will play a vital role in overseeing the project and ensuring its success.

Today, I had the privilege of meeting with Hajia Bintu Kolo, the Director of Partnership and Education for the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) and a passionate Global Ambassador for Climate Change.
