WELCOME BACK MESSAGE TO ALL PHARMACY STUDENTS
On behalf of all the Pharmacy students of Bayero University Kano Chapter, I warmly welcome all fresh and returning students to the commencement of the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
As academic activities resume today, Monday 18th May 2026, we are reminded that pharmacy is not just a course of study, but a professional journey that requires discipline, consistency, resilience, and commitment. Beyond lectures and examinations, this is a period for us to better understand our Faculty, our profession, and the responsibilities that come with becoming future pharmacists.
We also recognize that the resit examinations commence alongside the resumption following the two-week revision period. We therefore extend our best wishes to all students sitting for the resit examinations and encourage them to remain focused, confident, and determined throughout the exercise.
Our Faculty is built on excellence, professionalism, and service, and while challenges may arise along the journey, we believe that through unity, academic dedication, proper guidance, and mutual support, we will continue to grow and succeed together.
This administration remains committed to promoting academic support, mentorship, professional exposure, student welfare, and impactful student-centered initiatives throughout the session.
As lectures and examinations begin, we urge all students to stay organized, disciplined, and committed to their academic responsibilities from the very beginning of the semester.
We wish everyone a productive, successful, and impactful academic session.
Thank you.
Comr. Umar Nasir Huzaifa
President, PANS BUK

Today, the PANS BUK Chapter, in collaboration with the Public Health Committee, visited Hikima Radio Station, where we conducted an informative program focused on malaria awareness.
This initiative was part of our activities in commemoration of World Malaria Day (25th April 2026), aimed at drawing public attention to the prevention and control of malaria.
During the program, we educated the public on key preventive measures, including:
âś…Maintaining good hygiene.
âś…Ensuring proper environmental sanitation.
âś…Sleeping under insecticide-treated mosquito nets.
âś…Use of insecticide sprays.
âś…Effective vector control strategies.
This outreach reflects our commitment to public health advocacy and community education.
