She asked if having yeast is the reason why she feels pain during and after s*x.

Now, this is what you need to know about painful s*x. 👇🏽
Yes, a va**nal yeast infection can make s*x painful because it can cause itching, soreness and inflammation around the va**na. Pe*******on can make the irritation worse.
But ladies, not every pain during or after s*x is caused by a yeast infection.

Vaginal dryness, other infections, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), endometriosis and other pelvic conditions can also cause pain during or after s*x.

Now, here is where many women get it wrong. They assume every discomfort down there is yeast infection, buy an antifungal medication, and start treating themselves without knowing the actual cause.

If you keep experiencing pain during or after s*x, please don't keep treating yourself for yeast infection without getting checked.

And if the pain is severe or comes with fever, unusual bleeding or significant lower abdominal pain, seek urgent medical care.
