emotional intelligence is this:

you feel sad when someone is unkind to you…
and you don’t immediately assume it’s your fault.

“my body reacted because my heart matters.”

“my pa.in isn’t proof that i’m the problem.”
“unkindness is unkindness, even if i can understand why they did it.”
“i can have compassion for them without abandoning myself.
emotional intelligence is letting sa.dness be sa.dness instead of turning it into self-blame.

Emotional intelligence is not perfection. it’s permission.
feeling s.ad when someone is unkind isn’t weakness.
refusing to turn that sa.dness to sha.me 🤔
