Today is another day to tell you to stop adding food to oil. Add oil to food instead.

07/05/2026

Be good to yourself too

07/05/2026

Most people didn’t d¡e “suddenly.”
They d¡ed gradually, with enjoyment.

With bread and tea every morning.
With pepsi and gala in the afternoon.
With 5 bottles of beer in the evening.
With noodles or big swallow by 11pm.

The body warned them:

▪️Headaches.
▪️Fatigue.
▪️Belly growing like 3rd trimester.
▪️Breathlessness after climbing small stairs.
▪️Wound that took longer to heal

But they laughed it off.

Then you say:

“He d¡ed young.”
“No sign at all.”
“It was God’s time.”

No.
It was food time.

You don’t collapse because of one bad meal.
You collapse because your body finally says,
“I’m done covering for you.”

▪️High blood pressure didn’t start the day you fell.
▪️Diabetes didn’t start the day they diagnosed it.
▪️Heart failure didn’t start in the hospital.

It started on your plate.
In your routine.
With the foods you defended the most.

Your body is not wicked.
It is loyal — too loyal.

It keeps adjusting.
Until it can’t.

So when someone d¡es “young,”
don’t just cry.

▪️Look at the lifestyle.
▪️Look at the eating pattern.
▪️Look at the stress + food + neglect combination.

Because most people didn’t d¡e young.

They ate, slept, and lived their way there.

And the scary part?

The same plate that buried them
is still in your kitchen.

Change it.
Before people start saying the same thing about you.

So she concluded that her big stature is a blessing from God… Simply because she had tried every wrong thing possible and the fat still refused to leave.

Can you imagine?

She tried:

▪️Lipton and tea.
▪️Lemon and hot water.
▪️Slimming tea.
▪️Weight loss supplements.

One even promised: “Lose 15kg in 7 days.”
Amaka believed with full faith.

▪️She did starvation.

Morning — nothing.
Afternoon — anger.
Night — revenge eating.

▪️Then came waist trainers.

She tied her stomach so tight
even her intestines were confused.

And breathing became optional.

▪️Then girdle pants entered.

At this point, the fat was not reducing —
it was simply being kidnapped and redistributed.

Upper body empty.
Lower body congested.

▪️She tried sit-ups.

Day 1: “Summer body loading.”
Day 2: Leg pain.
Day 3: “Maybe this is not my calling.”

▪️She started intensive exercise.

Jumping. Running. Squatting. Lifting weights.

Then small lap pain entered.

Immediately she concluded:
“My body is not meant for stress.”

Now after all these temporary experiments failed…
She looked at herself majestically and said:

“This is how God created me.”

Madam…

God did not create:

▪️slimming tea
▪️girdle pants
▪️starvation
▪️waist trainer suffering

The issue here is simple.

You wanted: Quick result.
But refused: Consistent lifestyle.

Fat is not stubborn.
Your methods were.

Just like every success, if you want weight loss success that guarantees health...

Stop looking for shortcuts.

So the other day, Mama Nkechi and Mama Amara were discussing somewhere around Iyana Ipaja.

Both have diabetes.
Both always complain that their sugar level is high.

So one said to the other:

“Today's biscuits are full of sugar.
Which one can someone even take with this our condition?”

Mama Nkechi replied with confidence:

“Cream crackers is the best.”

Then she added:

“But don’t take it with coke.
Zobo is better.” 😄

In my mind, I'm like…

Is it the same zobo that Auntie RUKA prepared inside one room apartment at Dopemu?

The one she added:

Sugar.
More sugar.
Then small saccharin for balance? 😂

What an error.

See ehn…
Many people are still deceiving themselves with:

“Unsweet biscuit.”
“Diabetic biscuit.”
“Healthy crackers.”

Meanwhile refined flour is still refined flour.

Your blood sugar does not clap because the biscuit is not sweet.

And washing it down with heavily sweetened zobo is simply advanced confusion. 😄

Eating biscuits of any kind regularly — sweet or unsweet — is not a smart move for anybody seriously trying to regain metabolic health.

Even when you take it as an emergency, you may land at the emergency.

So in truth:
Many people around you are still making this mistake confidently.

Please share this post.
You may be saving a life.

Because some people are proudly but wrongly managing diabetes… with biscuits and sugar disguised as zobo.

Why Health Is a Daily Investment
Good health is not built in a day, it is shaped by daily choices. What we eat, how we move, and how we care for our bodies determine our strength, clarity, confidence, and long-term stability. Healthy eating and proper nutrition are not about restriction or trends; they are about nourishing the body so it can serve us well physically, mentally, and emotionally.

06/05/2026

How to Know You’re Eating Based on Food Trends
If you’re honest, you’ll see yourself here 👇

▪️You suddenly start eating a food because it’s trending online, not because you were hungry for it

▪️You buy foods you never ate growing up, simply because “everyone is eating it now”

▪️You can’t explain why you’re eating it, only that “they said it’s healthy”

▪️You change your diet every few months — keto today, detox tomorrow, smoothie next week

▪️You feel confused about food most of the time

▪️You eat what influencers recommend, not what your body responds well to

▪️You feel guilty eating traditional foods but proud eating foreign ones

▪️ You are ashamed to drink Garri but want everyone to see you when you are eating fried rice and chicken

▪️Your meals always look good online but the Maggi in it can't be seen

▪️You eat foods you don't know how they're made

▪️You follow hashtags more than hunger cues

If your plate is controlled by trends,
your body will always be confused.

Real nutrition is consistent, simple, and personal —
not viral.

If every time you enter the toilet
you’re sweating, holding your breath,
and pushing like you’re giving birth…

Your gut is not happy.

A healthy gut means:

▪️smooth movement
▪️no drama
▪️no prayer point
▪️no straining

Poo is not a gym exercise.

If you’re forcing it,
something is wrong:

▪️low fibre
▪️low water
▪️poor gut health
▪️too much processed food

When the gut is healthy,
poo moves freely like an American citizen with a blue passport.

It's like:
“Excuse me, I’m leaving now.”😀
And he leaves...

No struggle.
No noise.
No trauma.

Fix your gut —
and stop fighting a silent battle in the toilet — every day.

“Trust the Process..... (Growth )
Understanding the Pattern of Growth”
Starting strong, relatable, and reflective:
“Have you ever felt like you’re trying… but nothing is changing?
Like you’re putting in effort, but your life is not moving forward the way you expected?
Sometimes, you even start asking yourself…
‘What am I doing wrong?’
But what if I told you…
You’re not stuck.
You’re not failing.
You’re simply in a stage of growth you don’t yet understand.”
(Pause… let it sink in)
“Today, I want to help you understand something powerful Growth has a pattern.

And when you understand that pattern, you will stop doubting yourself and start trusting your journey.”
The Pattern of Growth is the......

Awareness “Seeing What Needs to Change”
“Every growth begins with awareness.
You cannot grow beyond what you are not willing to confront.”
You notice your habits
You recognize your weaknesses
You become aware of your environment
“Growth starts the moment you stop pretending everything is fine.”
Line to emphasize: 👉 ‘What you refuse to confront, you cannot change.’

So How Much Protein Do You Actually Need?
For most women over 30 aiming for fat loss and stable energy:
👉🏽 25–30g per meal
That usually looks like:
2–3 eggs
100–150g chicken, turkey, beef or fish
A generous portion of beans
Greek yogurt
Or combining plant + animal protein
You don’t need a scale.

Just use this rule:
✋🏽 Palm-sized protein at every meal.
Simple. Practical. Sustainable.

What Happens When You Finally Eat Enough Protein?
You stay full from lunch till dinner.
Cravings reduce.
Energy stabilizes.
Fat loss becomes easier.
Your metabolism feels supported and suddenly…
Healthy living doesn’t feel like punishment anymore.

25/02/2026

You’ve been eating “healthy” all week.

Salad for lunch.
Rice and stew for dinner.
Maybe fruits in between but by 8 a.m., you’re already hungry.
By 3 p.m., you’re reaching for snacks.
By bedtime, you’re exhausted.
And you’re wondering…“Why is this so hard?”

Let me tell you something gently:
It’s not lack of discipline.
It’s likely lack of protein.

The Silent Problem Most Women Ignore is that
Protein is the most underrated part of a busy woman’s diet.

Many women over 30 are eating enough carbs.
Enough vegetables.
But not enough protein.
And the body keeps sending signals… we just don’t recognize them.
Why?
Because protein is expensive so we treat it like decoration.

A small piece of meat in stew.
One egg for breakfast.
Two tiny pieces of fish in soup.
But that’s often just a fraction of what your body actually needs.

How Your Body Tells You You’re Low on Protein
1️⃣ You’re Hungry Soon After Eating
If you eat lunch and feel snacky within 2 hours, your meal was incomplete.
Protein is what keeps you full and stabilizes blood sugar. Without it, you enter the hunger → craving → repeat cycle.

2️⃣ Your Cravings Feel Aggressive
That “I need something sweet now” feeling?
It’s not weakness. It’s unstable blood sugar.
When meals lack protein, cravings become louder. When protein is adequate, cravings calm down naturally.
3️⃣ You Crash During the Day
Brain fog.
Afternoon fatigue.
Low motivation.
Protein helps sustain steady energy. Without enough, your body runs on quick carbs and crashes hard.

4️⃣ You Feel Weaker Than You Should
Protein repairs and maintains muscle.
If small chores feel harder…
If workouts feel draining…
If recovery is slow…
Your muscles may be underfed.

5️⃣ Your Plate Looks “Healthy” But Feels Empty
Take a look at your meals. Is it mostly rice, garri, yam, pasta, bread plus small stew?

Where is the protein?
If it’s not visible and intentional, it’s probably insufficient.
