3 Principles I Use When Approaching Forex

Forex is not about predicting every move in the market. It is about having a clear process and staying disciplined.

Here are 3 principles I personally use:
1️⃣ Protect Capital First
My first question is not, “How much can I make?”
It is, “How much can I afford to lose?”
Every trade must have controlled risk. One bad trade should never destroy the account.

2️⃣ Trade the Setup, Not the Emotion
I don't enter a trade simply because the market is moving.
I wait for my setup, analyze the market, define my entry, stop loss and target—and then execute according to the plan.
No setup = No trade.

3️⃣ Stay Patient and Keep Learning
The market will always present another opportunity.
I don't need to force a trade today. My goal is to improve my understanding, review my trades, learn from mistakes, and become more consistent over time.

Every business has a beginning.

Golding Rod Candle is one of the businesses I'm building as part of the Baba Labe Global vision—and this journey is teaching me a completely different side of entrepreneurship.

It started with an idea:
What if I could build a candle product of my own instead of simply selling someone else's product?

That question started the journey.
From there, I've had to think about raw materials, production, quality, packaging, pricing, branding, customers and distribution.

And I've learned that turning an idea into a physical product requires much more than enthusiasm.

It requires:
🕯️ Experimentation — testing and learning what works.

🔍 Attention to quality — because consistency matters.

📦 Good presentation — because the product must communicate value.

📊 Understanding the numbers — because a product must make business sense.

🤝 Customer focus — because ultimately, people determine whether a product succeeds.

⏳ Patience — because building properly takes time.

There will be challenges along the way.

There will be things we have to change.

There will be lessons we couldn't have learned from planning alone.

But that's what makes entrepreneurship exciting.

The journey is not just about making candles.
