66 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE… 🇳🇬💔

Today, Nigeria turns 66. We celebrate our flag, our culture, our resilience and the greatness we believe Nigeria can still become.

But honestly, how far have we really come?

66 years after independence, too many Nigerians are still struggling with the basics—affordable food, reliable electricity, decent jobs, security, quality healthcare and education. The World Bank continues to identify poverty, weak job creation, infrastructure gaps and insecurity as major challenges facing the country.

We have the people.
We have the talent.
We have the natural resources.
We have the potential.

What hurts is the gap between the Nigeria we were promised and the Nigeria many citizens experience today.

Independence should mean more than changing the calendar every October 1st. It should mean a country where ordinary people can work hard and live with dignity, hope and security.

May the Nigeria we dream of finally become the Nigeria we experience.
